Time to discuss the elephant in the (draft) room.....
#1 Since Iverson landed in Philly, 12 of the past 19 teams to enter the lottery slotted at No. 2 have, in fact, fallen out of the top three.
#2. It’s been 20 years since a team with the second-worst record won the lottery
So obviously having the 2nd worst record doesn't guarantee us a top 3 pick. Let alone a #1 or #2 pick.
So as we watch the draft we have to pray that The Lakers can buck this trend of the 2nd worst record team in the draft.
What are your thoughts on this?
