The Lakers have hit a very expected wall, especially considering the injury bug. Luke will get them back on track. I still don't see them as more than a 30 win team, but the progress they have already made is undeniable. This is far from a finished product, so we need to be patient to see what, if anything, the front office does at the trade deadline or potentially sooner. Watching how great Porzingis is obviously becoming was quite painful last night. Maybe Tom was right about needing a Willie Cauley-Stein type on this team. We certainly need a rim protector who is better than Timofey Mozstiff. Maybe Luke should start Zubac so he is effective when he's Porzingis' age. Deng has been playing better lately though. Hopefully that will be a constant moving forward.
Go Yankees!
Yeah I predicted us to win 30 games before the season started and that will probably be right on cue. I like the progress we have made so far this season but IMO unless we make a major splash like trade for a player like Cousins for example or pickup a Great F. Agent we wont be in the playoffs for a couple of years. Hiring Luke is a step in the right direction no doubt and I like Russell but still not totally sold on him becoming a dominant player. I think he will be Good and same for Randle but not sure if they will ever be SuperStars. Ingram to me has more upside than both but he's only a Rookie. I see 30 wins this season and if we pretty much have the same Roster next season I could see us being around .500 as the young guys get another year under their belt but still no Playoffs. Porzingis is proving everyone wrong and as of now I have to say he is better than Russell and Okafor from that Draft.
Regarding Baseball it will be interesting to see what else the Yankees do in the offseason? They had a winning record last season so they weren't Bad and they always pick players up.
