Incredible. Some of you may know the story of Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell (who I had the pleasure of playing with a few years ago), the 5'9" Oakland playground legend who used to wow crowds at legendary Mosswood Park with dunks like these. I used to be able to dunk in HS -- of course nothing even close to any of this high-flying stuff. It takes a total-body co-ordination, with your mind playing just as big a part as your legs or hands. Players like Kilganon, Kobe, Jordan, Dr. J, Vinsanity and others prove that you don't need huge calf or thigh muscles to leap and fly like this, you just need great genes in your legs, a fearless sense of equilibrium, and the practice and technique that fine-tunes one of the most explosive and exciting scoring methods in sports history.
