Getting in is what matters. Once you're in, the teams with great starting pitching have historically thrived in the playoffs. While the Yankees have a very deep bullpen, the starters - while good - are not GREAT. They need to trade for Madison Bumgarner. That we give us the Yankees - Dodgers World Series Many people, including myself, are craving. I don't see another team coming out of the NL. The Astros are a problem in the AL, but the Yankees have handled them well this season. That doesn't necessarily translate into a 7 game series in the playoffs though.
