Must be something in your Crown 3Peat :snapout: :waaaaa:

As of Thursday 5/16/19:

Astros .659 +87
Dodgers .644 +58
Twins .643 +52
Rays .634 +62
Cubs .625 +55

Yanks and Red Sox are super hot catching up to Tampa Bay, Brewers are going to be a beast for the Cubs, and it's likely that the Twins, Dodgers and Astros will own their respective divisions.

Cubs lost tonight and the Dodgers, Twins, Rays won so it shifted in 1 day :roflmao:. I think the Cards will be a pain in the ass too in the NL Central. Brewers are very good though.

As of now (May 18th) in the NL, the Dodgers have the best record at 30-16, Cubs are at 26-16 = 2nd best record. Cubs took care of the Nats tonight 14-6, Kris Bryant hit 3 HR's :kingclaphands: .

Dodgers, Cubs and Yanks all sitting in first place. The Twins are playing well and of course the Astros are the dominant club right now. The Boys of Summer are taking center stage.

Yeah the cream of the crop usually rises once June starts. Coming into the season I had the Astros, Cubs, Dodgers, and Yankees as being the dominant teams. I had the RedSox taking a step back because of the Repeat factor but they are still dangerous. The Twins are kind of surprising so far. If the Cubs make the playoffs, that will make 5 straight seasons (2015-2019) they have done so. Pretty impressive considering they also have won a WS (2016) in this time frame.

Cubs still in 1st place as of May 23rd. Pounded Bryce Harper and the Phillies tonight. Kris Bryant is a better player and doesn't make near the money Harper makes.

NL Central standings:
Cubs 29-18
Brewers 29-22 (2 back and 4 more losses)
Pirates 24-22 (4.5 back)
Cards 25-24 (5 back) - funny as hell they are struggling with all of that talent :waaaaa:
Reds 22-27 (8 back)

Lets face it, over the last 5 seasons (2015-2019) the Cubs have won more games than all teams and won a WS in 2016. Great stuff! :kingclaphands:

Twins, Astros and Dodgers have all built up nice cushions to lead their divisions, while the Yankees, Phillies and Cubs are all ahead by slim margins. Dodgers got crushed by the Devil Rays yesterday but hey -- losing every so often builds character, right?

Cubs are in the best division in baseball IMO. Brewers, Cards, and Pirates are all good. It will be tough for the Cubs to pull way ahead in that division, especially with the Brewers there. The Twins are the surprising team without a doubt, is the Indians door closed of winning a WS with their core? The Astros, Yankees, and Dodgers do not surprise me at all, those teams are stacked.

Hard to believe only 1 more week left in May. June is when the season really starts. That month is very important leading up to the stretch run of July, August, and September. Once April and May are over, teams need to get it together or they will dig themselves a hole.

I haven't noticed anything unusual Rev.

Your Dodgers look really good right now and so does Kenny's Yankees. Cubs had a nice day today, they won to improve to 30-20, Brewers lost and fall to 29-24. Cubs now 2.5 ahead in the NL Central after today. I am really surprised that the Cards are only 25-25 so far, glad the Cubs have a 5 game cushion on those guys because a lot of baseball left.

Regarding our Lakers, we are a mess and we need a miracle to get out of this funk lol. LeBron needs to work his magic and recruit some guys. Possibilities are out there = Kyrie, Leonard, Durant, Thompson, or a trade for AD. I still think Kuzma will be an all-star eventually as well.

Cubs salvaged a game from those tough Astros at Houston. They won tonight 2-1 and Kris Bryant returned to the lineup homering which is nice to see. Through May 30th, the Cubs still lead the NL Central. Standings look like this:

Cubs 31-23
Brewers 31-25 (1 back)
Pirates 27-27 (4 back)
Cards 26-28 (5 back)
Reds 26-30 (6 back)

April and May are a feeling out process, I like where the Cubs are right now. They need to add 1 more strong reliever to be a strong contender though IMO. June will be telling.
