Time for the upstart Yankees and their ace Luis Severino to bring us the first Yankees-Dodgers World Series since 1981! That would be 36 years, folks!

GO BRONX BABY BOMBERS!

That is the series I want to see, I think Dodgers would beat Houston in 5, maybe 6 at most. If it's Dodgers and Yankees, I have Dodgers in 7. Yankees are very streaky so they are hard to read, they lose 2 in a row, then win 2 or 3 in row so they are dangerous.

The Dodgers held up there part. Now the Yankees need to quit messing around and win this game 7!!

Yeah, Yankees lost so now there will be a big Game 7. Game 7's are always great.

Hats off to Joe Maddon and the Cubs, a real class organization and a great opponent. Next year!

Thanks Rev, it was a hell of a run. These last 3 years have been a treat for me with the 3 straight NLCS's and WS win. Cubs have came along way and finally got that Ring! You guys just had too much for us this season. The Dodgers have a Great team with a lot of talent. We just ran out of gas and ran up against your hungry machine. I hope you guys win the WS. Good luck Brethren. Good luck to Kenny and Nuggs tonight as well with their Game 7 at Houston.

Breaks my heart to see such a great batter and a veteran whose heart and talent carried us through these past few years take such a loss just when we get to the World Series. He'll likely be on another team next year, barring injuries to our youth movement. Love ya A-Gon!!

Houston is better than I thought, man their Pitching was awesome tonight. Hey we have over 10000 Posts in here now. Remember over at Hollinger's when Ken said we just lost 100,000 Posts, what happened is ESPN shutting down :roflmao: That was back in 2010. That wasn't his exact words but similar to that. Yankees fans have nothing to feel bad about, they had a solid season and have a bright future. Regarding the WS I say Dodgers in 6 = 4-2 over Houston.

Yeah not sure what Ken thinks of this but I was shocked to see him go. Yankees had a borderline Great year and really overachieved IMO.

Rev, huge Game 3 tonight, whoever wins has a 77% chance to win the series. I know teams can always come back from being down. Cubs were down 3-1 but it's rare. Are you nervous?

I felt that way with the Cubs last season but I also felt like if we didn't win it all it would've been huge disappointment. With me I just wanted the 108 year shit talk to stop.

A look at the Cubs 3 year run:
2015 97-65, made the NLCS but lost to the Mets. Jake won NL CY Young.
2016 103-58, Division Champs, beat the Indians to win the World Series. Bryant wins NL League MVP.
2017 92-70, Division Champs, made NLCS but lost to the Dodgers.

Total record = 292-193 60.2% winnings. :kingclaphands:

Cubs end up 92-70. 1st WS Champ to win their Division the next season since the 2009 Phillies. Man it's tough to Repeat!

Cubs are trying to trade Jason Heyward to the Giants for Pitchers Mark Melancon and Jeff Samardzija. All ready wheeling a dealing trying to add depth to the Pitching staff. Cubs also offered Jake Arrieta a 1 year deal for 17.4 Mill. No word on that yet from Jake.
