Lakers at Thunder Game thread (10-27-21)

LeBron day to day with an ankle. We beat the Spurs without him so LeBron may rest again as Russ and Davis can take care of business. Lakers looking to get above .500.

This may be Agent Zero's breakout game, playing against his former team. He certainly has something to prove to himself, his fans, and probably his fashion designer :waaaaa: . Any team with AD (questionable knee), Dwight, DJ, Rondo and a few younger *COUGH* players should be able to contend. Again, it's all about defense. We gotta - well, COACH VOGEL gotta - get back to defense as a calling card. This is going to be our struggle all season.

Welp - Russ had a breakout game! He broke out a quadruple-double with10 turnovers, and brokeout of the game with an ejection! See, I can predict some things :waaaaa:

If we get 50 wins I'll be impressed.

We will be ok guys, not sure what is going with our defense but LeBron is a top 5 player of all-time by any standard like Kobe was and he didn't play. Glad to see Yoda is back, he is Lakers4Life :beavis:

I just watched Game 4 of the 2002 WCFinals vs Kings. Thanks God for Robert Horry. I always played his type of game just a foot shorter lol. Nothing bothered me when I had to take the big 3. I have played in a ton of Gus Mackers and playground games where it was 1's and 2's up to 12. I was never the best player on my teams but clutch wise it was over if I was open for a game winner from 3, that is why my friends wanted me on their team. I just needed a guy that was tall that could score inside and another guy that had game and I was ok. I could shoot. Cincy used to have the biggest Gus Macker in the world and my team finished in the Final 4 back in the 90's - we beat 4 really good teams and played in the pro league, we basically got beat by a pro team, those dude's were like 6'6 - 6'8 and could ball. I had I guy named Rob who was 6'8 and the dude was a tank inside, also a black guy named Benard, he was only 6'2 but could slam it and rebound like crazy. The 2 accomplishments I will always remember is that one and running that mini-marathon in 2 hours and finishing in the top 3000 out 35,000.
