Any team or series or LEAGUE (read Association) that still humors Carmelo Anthony is a HUGE JOKE.

*watching this nuggs/blazers series*

No excuse for us 100% healthy to lose to any of these clowns. Clippers are a HUGE JOKE too.

Just trying to revisit our old Jedi days :waaaaa:

I have been saying Utah is our only threat in the West. Have said it since March. I did pick the Clippers to win the series vs Dallas but after that they would get their doors blown off by Utah. They may not even beat Dallas, they should with Leonard, PG, Beverly, Rondo, etc. but they may not.

By the way regarding PG, I wasn't thinking Nail Salon in his future, I was thinking a hair stylist for the ladies :waaaaa: . I did pick Portland over Denver in 7 see on page 1. Dame is too much and without Murray, Denver isn't the same. Joker can't carry a team by himself.

Jazz lost but before anyone gets too excited, Donovan Mitchell didn't play. He must be more injured than what people think. I had no idea he wasn't going to play.

How about those Clippers :waaaaa: , down 2-0 and now going to Dallas. This shit is too funny! I keep telling people the Clippers are the Brewers, they choke every year and have never won anything. I picked them to win this series and now I am starting to look stupid for doing so. I had them losing in Round 2 anyway but they may be eliminated quickly.

For them to even share a stadium with the 17 Time World Champions is so disrespectful! They have on paper a loaded team, a guy who I have in my top 4 players today (Leonard) - only LeBron, Durant, and Steph are better, 2 top defensive players in the league in Leonard and PG and they still stink. It is embarrassing and pathetic being down 0-2 to a Dallas team that has one legit great player in Luka. This Clippers core either can't figure out or they just don't give a damn! It has to be one of the two and it is mind boggling watching how they play. Ballmer got the players he wanted and he even got Jerry West to help run the team, still doesn't matter. I think it's funny being a Lakers fan how PG just dissed us to go to that crappy organization. He also dissed Indy, he was a God here in Indy and took a crap on our city here Indianapolis. I hope the Mavs sweep them.

In other big news, I knew the Jazz would win Game 2. I bet they don't lose a game the rest of the series, I see 4-1 Jazz. Mitchell is back and that team as a whole is a scoring machine. Ja Morant is a great young player though, he put 47 on the Jazz but they don't have enough to beat that team.

Russell Westbrook got a bucket of popcorn dumped on him leaving the court after an ankle injury during Game 2 at Philly. Philly went on to win the game to go up 2-0 in that series. Philly fans are really classy aren't they?? :waaaaa: . What a bunch of turds. They once threw snowballs with batteries inside at Santa Claus during an Eagles game. 'Brotherly Love' my ass, more like 'Brotherly Pathetic'.

Back page news, Knicks even their series with the Hawks. That was the 1st playoff win the Knicks have had since the 2013 season. I picked the Knicks in 7 before the series started, I may nail this one. I always thought Julius Randle was a good player, he has been great so far this season.

One last thing, does anyone give the Celtics a chance to win 1 game against the triplets in Durant, Harden, and Irving? Nets are up 2-0 and that is starting to look like sweep material to me.

:dedhors: :waaaaa: Great stuff 3Peat.

As a huge sports fan, I gotta visit Philly at some point, jog my ass up the steps and yell, "YO ADRIAN!!" at some homeless person and a few pigeons  I guess the young Eminem fan thought he was protected from view by that tarp when he dumped his popcorn through the gap. Smart move, Buzz Lightweight. The fans around him gave him some nice berating as he was escorted out by security - put him in the stocks in town square at mid-day like they used to do and let Philadelphians show him some love :fanshithit: . Methinks Russ may have to file for PTSD disability from now on for the string of attacks on him by stadium fans over the years - by now it's gotta be on his mind.

Wow, what a fantastic night in the NBA. Luka comes out HOT against the Clips and ends up with 44/9/9 but the mighty morphin power rangers commonly known as Kawhi and George fight back and get the win. Still Mavs in 5 or 6.

Jayson Tatum went full Kobe against the Nets, hitting all kinds of shots and willing his team to victory. Larry Bird took 13 years to have four 50-point games as a Celtic . . Tatum just did it in 22 GAMES. Check my Elias Sports Bureau on that quote, I heard it on ESPN :bart:

And then there's Tre Young. He just solidified himself as the Steph of Da Souf :waaaaa: with 14 assists and two turnovers in a brilliant push-back against the suddenly wanna-be-relevant Knicks. Coach Nate McMillian had nothing but praise for the young scrawny baller.

Great stuff Rev. I think you are right regarding Bird and Tatum. Bird was on such a loaded team that he really didn't have to score a ton of points. He still had a lot of 30+point games but between McHale, Parish, and DJ they almost always had balance scoring. Bird was like Magic, he loved to pass a lot. In Tatum's case he doesn't have much help, especially with Brown out now. Good win for Boston. Now if they can win Game 4 that would really show me something. Hats off to the Clippers, I bust their balls when they deserve it so I will praise them tonight because they deserve it. PG stepped up but if they don't win Game 4 you can put a fork in them. Both the Celtics and Clippers still need to win Game 4.

With all this talk about an NBA mid-season tourney, why not face two lousy ineffective teams like the Clips and Celts against each other and make it for a post-season berth :waaaaa: . The loser can't get into the post -season, despite their record. *drops mic*

The 76ers are 3-0 in the playoffs for the first time since 1985. *teams leading 3-0 are 141-0 all-time in recorded NBA history

Jazz won the all important Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead and get HCA back. With Mark Eaton passing away, they will probably play like madmen now. Teams that are up 2-1 in any series win 78% of the time. Here are some fun statistics in NBA history:

Teams up 3-0 in any series win 100% of the time like you pointed out Rev.

Teams up 3-1 in any series win 95% of the time, that is almost as bad as being down 3-0, not quite but close. Of course if you are the Clippers and are up 3-1 you usually lose :roflmao: , Clippers have been up twice 3-1 in Semi-Finals play (2015, 2020) and lost both times.

Teams up 2-0 in any series win 92% of the time, win the first 2 games and teams usually go onto win.

Teams up 3-2 in any series win 84% of the time.

Teams up 2-1 in any series win 78% of the time.

In 2016, LeBron's Cavs came back from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Warriors in the NBA Finals. That is the only time in NBA history a team has been down 3-1 in the NBA Finals and came back to win. That same year the Cubs were down 3-1 to the Indians in the WS and came back to win it all. It happened twice in 1 year regarding basketball and baseball which was the first time in sports history when 2 teams were playing for a Championship in those sports! How is that for a history tidbit

Utah won, now they are up 3-1. That series is over. We better get our ass in gear.

If we do lose to the Suns I will still watch, I just love basketball. It will suck not having the Lakers around and the Pacers stunk this year but I will still watch. I will root for the Jazz at that point. I have never been a Jazz fan but have always respected that organization. They have never won a Championship either. They have almost always stayed very good since the Stockton and Malone era. When they had Stockton and Malone back in the 80's and throughout the 90's, they were very good and great sometimes. Mark Eaton was a likeable dude as well. Now with Mitchell and Gobert they are a likeable team and I hate the Clippers and Nets, just not a fan of PG or James Harden.

Clippers lost, hell yeah! Go Mavs, Mavs take 3-2 lead in the series. Game 6 at Dallas.
