The Lakers are going to have to beat teams like the Jazz and Nets to get it done is why, another reason why is his longevity - he still plays like he is 30 lol. The Nets are just loaded and the Jazz are loaded too! The only reason why I have LeBron ahead of Kobe is he could just do more as an all-around player and he has won 4 League MVP's, Kobe only won 1. Kobe did get cheated out of a League MVP in 2006 though. The championships are about even, Kobe has 5/LeBron 4 but if LeBron wins this season that gives him 5. I have Kareem at #3 still out of respect because IMO he is greatest Center ever and has won 6 Championships and 6 League MVP's. He is also the NBA's all-time leading scorer. Centers can't do the things that floor players can do though, as in creating their own shot and the passing like a Point Guard.

What Magic did by winning Finals MVP as a rookie scoring 42 points, getting 15 Rebounds, and dishing out 7 Assists still may be the greatest thing I have ever witnessed. Magic did that without Kareem who was injured. The Lakers put the Sixers away at Philly, (otherwise we would've been facing a Game 7) who had DR J, Mo Cheeks, Andrew Toney, and Darryl Dawkins. 4 great Vets, it didn't matter. My eye test seen something that night that blew me away. I was almost 9 then and remember telling my mom that is the greatest basketball player I have ever seen and it's not even close. At the time I loved Kareem too. Michael Jordan came along and by the end of the 90's, I had to say he was the best ever. He just accomplished so much and never lost in the Finals going 6-0 with 6 Finals MVP's. It took that much for someone to out due Magic to change my thinking.

It didn't happen, my top 5 list remains (out of the players I have seen live 1977-2021)
1. Jordan
2. Magic
3. Kareem
4. LeBron
5. Kobe
Bird and Shaq honorable mentions.

As the 2021 season is about to conclude, I did all decade teams for you guys. I will start with the 60's, this is for all the old school fella's and the new generation. I am thinking about making a video game based on stats but the game will have realism because I would put fatigue factor in and injury could occur in lol.

60's: 8 man rosters because playoff teams usually play at least 8 solid
PG - Oscar Robertson
SG - Jerry West
SF - Elgin Baylor
PF/C - Bill Russell (I have him here)
C - Wilt Chamberlain
6th Man - SF/SG John Havlicek
7th Man - PG Bob Cousy
8th Man - SG/SF Sam Jones
Final comment = One hell of a team!

70's:
PG - Walt Frazier
SG - Earl Monroe = the teams best shooter
SF - Julius Erving 'Doc' (I consider him more 70ish than 80's if ABA is factored in)
PF - Elvin Hayes
C - Bill Walton
6th Man - SF Rick Barry
7th Man - C Willis Reed
8th Man - SG/PG Pete Maravich
Final comment = Interesting team

80's:
PG - Magic Johnson
SG/PG - Isiah Thomas (I have him here)
SF - James Worthy
PF - Larry Bird (I have him here) best floor stretcher ever for 3!!!!!!
C - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
6th Man - C Moses Malone
7th Man - PF Kevin McHale
8th Man - SG Joe Dumars (he won 1989 Finals MVP, he belongs in the 80's)
Final comment = My team :waaaaa:

90's:
PG - John Stockton
SG - Michael Jordan
SF/PF - Charles Barkley (I have him here)
PF - Karl Malone
C - Hakeem Olajuwon
6th Man - SG/SF Clyde Drexler
7th Man - SF Scottie Pippen
8th Man - SG Reggie Miller
Final comment = This team would be hard to beat :roflmao:

2000's-2009:
PG - Jason Kidd
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Paul Pierce
PF/C - Tim Duncan
C - Shaq
6th Man - PF/C Kevin Garnett
7th Man - PG/SG Allen Iverson
8th Man - PG Steve Nash
Final comment = Scary team

2010-2019's:
PG - Steph Curry
SG - Dwyane Wade
SF - LeBron James
PF - Kevin Durant (I have him here) he would be a great stretch 4!
C - Dwight Howard = true Centers that decade weren't that great, Dwight has been the best :roflmao:
6th Man - PF Dirk Nowitzki
7th Man - SF Kawhi Leonard
8th Man - PG Chris Paul
Final comment = I love this team, for you, the new generation!

Congrats to the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks on winning the Championship. Giannis got his ring. I did all-time teams per decade above from the 60's-2010's-2019 decade (8 man rosters). Up and coming for this decade (2020-2029) you have young players like Giannis, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Devin Booker, Donovon Mitchell, Trae Young, and Zion Williamson to watch. The NBA is in great hands. Anthony Davis if he plays most of this decade would belong as a 2020-2029 player. He got his ring in 2020 being 2nd best player on the team.

End of an era for my Cubs as July 30th, 2021. They cleaned house today. Already traded Rizzo and today trade Bryant and Baez + to add to that Jake Arrieta looks done. Baez getting traded is the one that really blew my mind, nobody seen that coming. Bryant getting traded is plain dumb to me but I expected it with the rumors that had been flying around. I have been a Cubs fan for 37 years, talk about loyalty but the FO we have in there right now has no loyalty toward Cubs fans. Today is another example of that. It was a hell of ride while it lasted, finally winning the 2016 NL Pennant and the 2016 WS, + winning 3 Division Titles in 5 seasons = 2016, 2017, and 2020. It's over now, great 5 season run :kingclaphands:

A look back at the 2016 Playoff run:
Defeated the Giants 3-1 in the NLDS
Defeated the Dodgers 4-2 in the NLCS
Defeated the Indians 4-3 to win the WS

Keep soaking it all up 3Peat -- the Cubs went HOW MANY LIFETIMES without winning one and YOU got to live to see it, so there's that. My childhood was blessed with multiple Laker, Dodger and Raider titles so I grew up thinking that it was going to be that way :tapfoot: every few seasons . . but I was rudely :snapout: awakened to the rise in competition and animosity . . trust me, the heated HATE between California teams out here is as real as death and taxes. But hey it's what drives sports. The fucking San Francisco Giants have had the best record in the MLB all season and my BUMS keep losing to them!!! Sports is a love/hate relationship :catfite: and as True Laker Fans we know both sides of the coin.

The Giants got my favorite player of all-time (MVP) on top of it. What makes those guys so special?? Yeah they won 3 WS = 2010, 2012, 2014 but our 2016 team took them out in 4 and would beat any of their Championship teams. We won 103 games in 2016, Bumgarner would've been crying after he played us :roflmao: Jake Arrieta was better in 2015 and 2016 than Bumgarner was at anytime in his career. Jake went 24 straight starts without a loss from mid 2015 to mid 2016 :uzi: and MVP, Rizzo, and Baez would have Bumgarner razzled. They have 3 to our 1 but our 1 would beat any of those teams :pissedkobe:
