Lakers missing LeBron for 6 weeks could affect their seeding

Postby 3Peatkb24 » Tue Mar 23, 2021 12:01 am

The Lakers are looking at a possibility at being a 7 or 8 seed if LeBron misses 5 or 6 weeks. I always equated him to a Peyton Manning type. With LeBron a team is usually 15-20 games better record wise, with Peyton he was good for 6 wins by himself lol. Whether or not being a 7 or 8 seed will hurt the Lakers chances of winning it all, we will soon see. If the Lakers are healthy = LeBron and AD around 100% it shouldn't matter but it could. I don't want to play Utah in the 1st round that is for sure.

You are not being facetious in your assessment. There is blood in the water and our Trophy is leaking . . . "it's gonna take a miracle" like Niecey used to sing . . .

Yeah tonight was bad, that is how much of an impact LeBron has on a team. He can take a team that is 21-61 and make them a .500 team at 41-41. If you have a team that already is 41-41, he can elevate that team to 56 wins or so. We look lost without him but not surprising.

You can't compete in a star laden league playing with all role players. This patch is going to suck, fellers. Hopefully AD is ready soon, but I doubt it.

I have a dream that we'll barely qualify for the play-in game vs. the Warriors at full-strength, battle through the top seeds and reach the Finals, then run out of gas and lose to the Nets. It's a shame that we're suffering these injuries to our top guys, but we are the defending champs until someone takes us out so let's keep rooting for the team and have faith. Pelinka may be cooking up something, which will be a sign that either he's trying to bridge the injury gap or has given up on this season and wants to look ahead to next year.
