NBA players decide to resume season. Mike Wilbon just reported it on ESPN. He agrees with the decision and so do I. Maybe LeBron read my rant - just joking but I give the players a big :kingclaphands: :standingO:

From time to time I go over to Tom's site to read posts. I haven't been over there in a while. He re-did his site, pretty sweet. I just read some of the posts over there and Tom agrees with me too that we should continue the season. It really isn't even about the Lakers winning #17 but just having basketball period is important.

Man Stephen A Smith nailed it. He thinks just like I do regarding my rant about players playing. They can't control what happens in this crazy world and should keep playing, I feel a lot better now about that rant, Wilbon and Jordan are on my side too. That is 3 African Americans that have my back. I can't speak for Kobe but I am sure he would be for playing as well. There still won't be a Game 7 between the 1987 Lakers vs the 1996 Bulls though in my fantasy league :waaaaa: .

With all the crap going on, LeBron winning a championship this year would be huge for his legacy.

The Celtics and Raptors are ready to get their second-round series going, while the Rockets and Thunder are still two games away from moving on. ESPN has Boston vs. Toronto scheduled for tomorrow, and Houston vs. Oklahoma City re-starting Sunday. Hmm. Celtics in the driver's seat, but the Raptors are no joke. It's going to be the best matchup in the ECF this year.

As for the continuous tumult in our country over race, police brutality, pandemic disease and response to the hurricanes - not to mention the absolute hopelessness in regard to our political leadership - I will continue to take the road less travelled and say that 1) Mr. Orange will be re-elected, 2) violence will continue on both sides, 3) poverty and economic disparity will continue to be ignored and politicized, and the money will continue to be KING, and Coivd-19 will continue for a couple more years until the virus infects or kills off a few million more.

Go Lakers.

I think Mr Orange is out, Biden will win Rev, that is my prediction. Too much turmoil and divisiveness going on right now. If I change my mind and do vote, I am voting Biden. What bothers me about Biden is I am just not sure he can run this country any better but we need change. Mr Orange gets blamed for everything and the economy was doing well before the Covid-19 hit, nobody can debate that. It is his divisiveness that will do him in though, JMO. Some people just don't like him in general. I was shocked he got elected in the first place.

Nuggs can you create a Gif for Homer Simpson? lol. He would make a better president than the two guys we have running.

Ok, playoffs resume tomorrow. Moving forward in the West, I still think the Rockets will win their series over State Farm, Clippers and Lakers are a lock. Luka gave the Mavs hope in Game 4 but after Game 5 it looks bad. The Jazz/Nuggets series is iffy. Jazz better win Game 6 if they don't, Nuggets will win IMO.

Please vote. And urge your family and friends to vote. Get your mail-in ballot NOW and mail it in as early as possible. Even if they say they're voting for Donnie Darko. They may secretly change their stripes by October. More importantly, this election is not just about Presidents. It's about judges, local policies, our Congress and Senate and so much more. I know Indiana is mostly cracker-bread trailer park hillbilly folks :waaaaa: but hey we're all in this big-ass country together and if I have an extra corndog you got it. With mustard. And jello jiggling.

OB won Indiana in 2008, I voted then, my vote was maybe the deciding factor :waaaaa: . I think he is the only democrat to do so. As Homer would say MMMMMMMMMMMMMM, I love Corndogs with mustard. I bet he could eat 10 of those :roflmao:

Those Gifs are Bart, we don't have any of big bad Homer.

Kuz and KCP are on the hot seat. Caruso plays twice as hard as them. We're too old to battle with these 3-point gunners. Our shooters NEED to hit shots! It can't be the Bron/AD show every night.

4:16 to go and we're up 119-112.

Thank God aka Sam aka Buss for Jeannie, Pelinka, Vogel, LeBron and AD. If Dame was healthy this series would have been different.

Good job Lakers.

Lakers win series 4-1. AD = 43 points, 9 rebounds. LeBron = 36 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists. :kingclaphands:

I really underestimated the Heat. They just took the Bucks out in Game 1. Swept the Pacers too. They are 5-0 so far in the playoffs. Butler is tough and gritty. That team is deep which helps.
