RIP, yeah I loved the Globetrotters. My mom took me to see them at Market Square Arena in the early 80's when I was a kid. Great stuff!

Got to see the Globetrotters up close and personal as a little kid at the Anaheim Convention Center (is it called the Toyota Center or something now?), the funny-looking building across the street from Disneyland. Even got to high-five Curly as they ran off the court. Meadowlark was just a great ambassador and showman and I hope he is recognized by the HOF.
