Is LeBron James a top 3 player of all-time?

Postby 3Peatkb24 » Thu Dec 05, 2019 3:21 pm

Here are my top 3 as of today:

1. Jordan
2. Magic
3. Kareem

Here are other nominees for top 3 ever = LeBron, Kobe, Bird, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Hakeem, Duncan, and the Big O. If you guys think LeBron is top 3, who would you take out of my top 3? Is LeBron better than Kobe all-time?

As of December 5th, 2019.

It's probably LeBron, Kobe, Jordan in whatever order you want for top 3 ALL AROUND FLOOR PLAYERS. Magic, Bird, West and Baylor are probably in the next tier. Bigs need a separate category. I'm not sure which category Durant belongs in, but he has climbed this ladder, too. James Harden is scary and obviously Giannis will be near the top when he's done. Luka Doncic might eclipse them all!

Athlete's today as a whole are better athletic wise compared to the 80's. I still think Magic was very athletic but he was the best leader I have ever seen. I would take Magic over Kobe and LeBron. Magic was ahead of his time at 6'9 220. Just based on by my eye ball test he was the best at making players around him better. When he played a whole season his teams never won less than 57 games. It is all opinion but you know me I love this stuff. Magic is the greatest PG ever and he beat Boston with so many clutch shots.

Breaking down Floor players and Big's, I would go:

Floor
1. Jordan
2. Magic
3. Kobe
4. LeBron
5. Bird
6. Big O
7. West (Mr. Logo)

Big's/true Centers
1. Kareem
2. Wilt
3. Shaq
4. Russell
5. Hakeem
6. Mo. Malone

PF's = Duncan and K.Malone in reality.

Yeah Tier 1 for me as far as Floor players would be:
1. Jordan
2. Magic
3. Kobe
4. LeBron
I put 5. Bird in there because of his 3 Pt shooting ability, he would be great today because of that IMO. At 6'9 he would be able to shoot over people as well. Bird was also a good passer and a great rebounder. He was just real physical. He would make some of these dude's cry today :roflmao:.

Tier 1 Centers are easy:
Kareem is an easy #1. He accomplished more than any player in NBA history. 6 Championships when there was a lot of teams in the league, 6 League MVP's, all-time leading scorer, eye test = most unstoppable shot in NBA history (skyhook).

2. Wilt
3. Shaq
4. Russell
5. Hakeem
-Duncan's true position was PF, he played PF in his career when Robinson was on the roster from 1998-2003. Robinson was Center.
