Thanks for the great run Chicago Cubs

I just wanted to say it was a fun 5 season run. I have been a Cubs fan since 1984 and these last 5 seasons have been a joy.

2015 = 97-65, made WCard but lost in NLCS.

2016 = 103-58, won the NL Central, won the NL Pennant, won the WS.

2017 = 92-70, won the NL Central, but lost in NLCS.

2018 = 96-67, made WCard but lost in WCard game.

2019 = 84-77, officially eliminated from playoff chances.
Regular Season record = 472-337 (58.3% winnings) (41.7 losings) = very good.

2015
@Joe Maddon = NL Manager of the Year
@Jake Arrieta = NL Cy Young
@Kris Bryant = NL Rookie of the Year

2016
@Kris Bryant = NL League MVP
@Theo Epstein = Sporting News Executive of the Year
@Javier Baez = NLCS MVP
@Ben Zobrist = WS MVP
@Aroldis Chapman = game winning pitcher in Game 7 of the WS

2018
4 straight playoff appearances, I bring this up because it doesn't happen much.

2019
We crashed and burned, it's over folks but what a hell of a ride. Still finished above .500.

:kingclaphands: I will take a 5 year run any day like that :chug: , 2019 just wasn't our season losing by 1 run 4 straight games vs the Cards. Fluky but that is baseball :silly3:

Thanks to being in the Indianapolis area I have been able to watch 90% of Cubs games over my fanhood since 1984 and have watched most games since the 2015 Season. Listening to guys like Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies on TV has been a pleasure. They are really great. The beautiful Kelly Crull doing pre and post game interviews has been a pleasure as well. David Kaplan on the post game shows is awesome too, I agree with him about 99% of the time. I guess it is good night. Home of the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs.

Cool Joe Maddon parts ways with the Cubs . . could San Francisco be his next stop?
