Here are the choices out of the players that played together:

-Cousy/Russell
-West/Wilt
-Magic/Kareem
-Bird/McHale
-Jordan/Pippen
-Stockton/Malone
-Kobe/Shaq
-LeBron/Wade
-Parker/Duncan
-Curry/Durant

Who would you guys want to lead your team for a decade? Who was the best?

It's a virtual tie between Shaq and Kobe and Jordan and Pippen. If you go strictly by the number of championships, it's the latter. If you go by the clear fact that Shaq and Kobe were number 1 and 1a the best best players in the NBA, it's them. Jordan and Pippen were arguably 1 and 2, but the difference in greatness between Jordan and Pippen was much larger than the difference in greatness between Shaq and Kobe,

Also, it should have been West and Baylor, not West and Wilt IMO, despite that remarkable 1971-72 season. As for Magic and Kareem, an argument can obviously be made, but they had SO MUCH talent around them.

Kobe and Shaq are probably #1 IMO because Magic had Kareem and Worthy. Jordan and Pippen won 6 Titles together but Pippen wasn't greater than Shaq. Jordan and Kobe offset each other. Even if many think Jordan was better than Kobe which he was in reality, it was only by a hair but nobody was more dominant than Shaq was. I would take Kobe and Shaq as just a duo. As a full team the 1987 Lakers were still the best. Jordan's teams would have no answer for Kareem, they had crap centers. Pippen could check Magic like he did in 1991 to try and disrupt things but who would check 1987James Worthy when he was unstoppable if Pippen is occupied with Magic?

Last team to 3Peat are the 2000-2002 Lakers = Kobe and Shaq baby! Not even a loaded Warriors team could 3Peat.
