Despite all the Covid-related hiccups to the season, this is a pretty good year for competitiveness. Unless you're the
J.ust E.nd T.he S.uffering J-E-T-S, or the Jags. There are currently at least two teams in each division with playoff hopes, and even the lousy NFC East has come around. Nice to see Buffalo and Miami prosper without Tom Brady dominating that division.

As it stands in week 13, New Orleans and Green Bay in the NFC and Pittsburgh and Kansas City in the AFC are the stand-out favorites. Will the Rams or Seahawks make a splash? Can Buffalo or Cleveland go deep? There are some pivotal matchups coming down the stretch, and for many teams the playoffs start NOW.

Colts at Raiders tomorrow, huge game with huge playoff implications on the line. Both teams are good, who knows how that will play out?

Huge win over the Raiders today. Colts now have a 90% chance of making the playoffs per ESPN at 9-4. Rivers is a God send, playing like he is 25. Our rookie RB Taylor is flat out awesome. His speed is just insane. TY Hilton is just business as usual. Fun season so far

That Ravens/Browns game was an instant CLASSIC!!! Lamar comes out of the locker room after suffering cramps and throws a go-ahead touchdown on his first snap! He and Baker are going to be fun to watch - two Heisman winners who have come out of college and immediately mastered the QB position.

Colts at Steelers today in a pivotal game. Playoff seedings are at stake here. If the Colts win and Titans lose to GB, Colts would have a 1 game lead in the AFC South at 11-4. Colts play the Jags to end the season at home which is promising.

My Colts fell short in a tough loss to Pitt 28-24. We blew a 24-7 lead. The Colts can still make the playoffs and even win their division but they need help now. A lot of people are bitching about the REFS, a lot of big calls were made for Pitt that is for sure. It looked bad.

ESPN -

"For some teams, Week 17 of the NFL season is a time to rest players and get ready for the playoffs. But for others, postseason hopes ride on one final game. This season, seven playoff spots are up for grabs in the final week, the most in at least 30 years.

That means there are several bad teams that can play spoiler on Sunday and wreck a playoff hopeful's season.

The 4-10-1 Cincinnati Bengals take on the 10-5 Baltimore Ravens, who can clinch a playoff berth with a win or a loss by the Cleveland Browns or Indianapolis Colts.

The 4-11 Houston Texans can play spoiler to the 10-5 Tennessee Titans, who can clinch the AFC South with a win or Colts loss and also would clinch a playoff berth with a Ravens loss or Miami Dolphins loss.

The 4-10-1 Philadelphia Eagles stand in the way of the 6-9 Washington Football Team clinching the NFC East.

The 1-14 Jacksonville Jaguars are the final hurdle for the Colts, who can clinch the AFC South with a win and a Titans loss. The Colts can also clinch a playoff berth with a win and a loss by either the Ravens, Browns or Dolphins."

Colts are in baby! We beat Jacksonville and thank God the Bills beat Miami otherwise we would be sitting at home. Look at how deep the AFC is this year:

#1 Chiefs 14-2
#2 Bills 13-3
#3 Steelers 12-4
#4 Titans 11-5
#5 Ravens 11-5
#6 Browns 11-5
#7 Colts 11-5
-insane, because there are 7 teams that get in this season instead of 6, Colts made it in. Chiefs have the Bye week and we play the Bills as the 7th seed.

Playing at Buffalo will be difficult but I have faith in Rivers as well. Currently they are a 7 point favorite.

Sad way to end the season, we gave the game away. I am just now getting over this. It took me 3 days to do so. Losing 27-24 because of 2 or 3 crucial mistakes hurts. I love the group of guys we have and wanted Rivers to make a deep playoff run. Rivers played great that is what sucks as well. If you bet on the Colts you would've won big money as they covered the spread.

The resume for the Indianapolis era (1984-2020) now stands at:

Playoff appearances - 1987, 1995, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2020 (18)

AFC Title Game appearances - 1995, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2014 (5)

SB appearances - 2006, 2009 (2)

SB Champions - 2006 (1)

This offseason will be interesting but our GM is great so I have faith in him.

We had Buffalo beat but close only counts in Horseshoes. This could've been Rivers year but it didn't happen. I wish him well in retirement, it was a fun entertaining season and we were good. Not sure as of now which way our GM will go? If Luck came back I would do a belly flop at the nearest inside pool from the high dive :waaaaa: , Luck is still under contract believe it or not.
