The Final 4 is today, this is my favorite football weekend of the year. We have an ice storm here in Indy today so I am just going to lay here all day and watch 2 football games. Heat me up some Hot Wings and drink a couple of Crown's. I am rooting for the Packers and Bills to win. Rodgers won't have too many more chances to join that elite winning club of winning 2 or more SB's as a starter in the SB. Only 12 have done it:

Plunkett in bold for the Rev, Peyton in bold for me  . Hard to believe Brady has 6 :barf:

Holy Deflated Pigskins, Batman! Brady is just a machine! I was rooting for the Pack but they just couldn't get things going on either side of the ball compared to the scrappy and savvy Buccaneers. Kansas City made Buffalo look like some strike-league players, the money is clearly on them -- BUT Tom Brady is channeling his inner LeBron and giving the League what it wants to see. I really can't say I want either team to win! :waaaaa:

I have Chiefs by 8. Care to make a friendly wager? My old college buddy from Indiana is visiting this weekend - he worked at the SB In Indy.

But I also am picking the Chiefs, did you mean you are picking the Bucs? I do think the game can go either way.

I like 3Peat's prediction. I'm good either way. Now that Tom Brady has easily established himself as the greatest QB of all-time, I don' mind seeing him get even more separation from the pack either. I love Patrick Mahomes. With good health, he might be spoken of in the same vein 20 years from now. Stay safe, brethren. Please don't go to a maskless gathering, whatever you do. It's one fucking year that will be forgotten. It's not worth it at this point, especially when the vaccines will be in all our arms before you know it. I am one vaccine down, one to go on the 24th!

My friend Brent wants to have a mini SB party where it is just me and a couple of other friends. Probably 4 or 5 people. He is just going to get some pizza's and of course we will have beer lol. Yeah Ken this has been a year to forget especially what happened to me at the end of the year, I am fine luckily. I went and got checked out  . So far knock on wood, no Covid signs either. I hope all you guys stay healthy and wear your masks, I always wear mine at work.

Regarding the GOAT, unfortunately I have to agree with Ken, Brady is the GOAT. I loved Montana growing up and Peyton was on my team where he was such a leader and a coach on the field. Having said that Brady is just on another level if there is such a thing. To me the top 3 QB's I have ever seen are:
1. Brady - 6 SB wins, 3 League MVP's
2. Montana - 4 SB wins, 2 League MVP's
3. Peyton - 2 SB wins, 5 League MVP's
-I think Peyton is the greatest regular season QB of all-time but when it comes to post season Brady and Montana got it done more. Mahomes has a chance to be one of the greatest, he is so young but it is still too early to tell. Not sure he can win more than 2 SB's, probably will if he wins tomorrow. I doubt he wins 5 League MVP's like Peyton did though. He does have one so far.

Well since the 2000's (21 seasons), Peyton's spot at #2 is very secure after tonight's terrible performance by Mahomes. Think about this - Mahomes, Rodgers, and Brees all have only won 1 SB, that is how tough it is to win 2. Mahomes is still young but I can see him having a career like Rodgers where he keeps falling short now. Since the 2000's = Brady 7 SB wins/3 League MVP's, Peyton 2 SB wins/5 League MVP's. It is not even debatable who the 2 best QB's have been over the last 2 decades.

In a way I am glad Brady won again, I was sick of the Mahomes GOAT talk. Dude isn't even on Peyton's level. END OF STORY!

Carson Wentz to the Colts! IDK how excited you are about it, 3Peat, but at least he's a competent, seasoned QB.

I am mixed right now on how I feel about this. He was pretty bad last year but the Eagles had a terrible O.Line, mediocre WR's, and no run game. Wentz didn't get along with the head coach either. Maybe in Indy, Reich can get Wentz out of his funk, Indy also has a great O.Line and a good defense. At one time Wentz was an MVP candidate = 2017 and that was when Reich called some of the plays, the year Philly won the SB. We will see, we at least got him for nearly nothing = only a 3rd round pick this year and 2nd round pick in 2022. So the Colts made out great there. Ballard is a great GM.

Free Agency is officially starting this week for football. What a fun week this will be :xclaphands: . Here is the official all-time Indianapolis Colts team per Indy sports, not mine but I agree with most it:
Offense
QB - Peyton Manning
RB - Eric Dickerson
LT - Chris Hinton
LG - Quenton Nelson
C - Jeff Saturday
RG - Ron Solt
RT - Ryan Diem
TE - Dallas Clark
WR1 - Marvin Harrison
WR2 - Reggie Wayne
Slot WR - TY Hilton
K- Adam Vinatieri

Defense
DE - Robert Mathis
DT - Booger McFarland
DT - DeForest Buckner
DE - Dwight Freeney
OLB/LLB - Darius Leonard
MLB - Gary Brackett
OLB - Cato June
CB - Vontae Davis
CB - Eugene Daniel
SS - Bob Sanders
FS - Marlin Jackson
P - Pat McAfee
Head Coach - Tony Dungy

All in all since moving to Indianapolis in 1984, this is the all-time Indianapolis Colts roster from 1984-2020 seasons. They have produced:
2 SB appearances/AFC Champions = 2006, 2009

1 SB Championship = 2006

5 AFC Title Game appearances = 1995, 2003, 2006, 2009, and 2014 - Final 4 baby! Something the Clippers will never see :silly3:

*They also won the division with Eric Dickerson back in 1987 when it was a 5 team division and the tough AFC East.

Russell Wilson to the Saints? It would be interesting to see if he could step right in and take them to a Superbowl run. The Bucs will be the favorites, but there will be some shakeups in the NFC.

Congratulations to Drew Brees, who had one of the greatest careers in QB history. He will be missed on the field.

Colts re-sign TY Hilton to a 1 yr 10 Million dollar deal. Great move, he still has game.

The phone interview with HOF WR James Lofton on Tiki & Tierney today was CLASSIC. So much inside info on his life, career and relationship with Bart Starr after being drafted by Green Bay in '78 . . even he was getting a little misty-eyed. Good stuff. Will Aaron retire or will he give the Pack a discount double-check?
