Seriously, how can we NOT give DeMarcus Cousins his own thread? We'll finally have someone with a chip on his shoulder getting T's again!! "lol4:

Throw that weakling LeBron James in there to complete the front court and it's destined to be the softest in NBA history. Is it too much to think Parish-McKale-Bird in terms of talent and toughness?

Ken, we have a hell of a front line with LeBron at SF, Davis at PF, and if Boogie is 100% at C, I can't see how anyone could stop that. I love your comparison to Bird, McHale, and Parish. The 3 we have are pretty equal to those 3. Bird and LeBron are top 10 players ever, Davis and McHale both are great players with great length, and Boogie and Parish are the type of players that just do their part and can dominate at times. We have a lot of size like those 3 in Boston did. I am so glad we got Danny Green too. We needed his 3 point shooting and badly. He will spread the floor and open things up for everyone.

I thought about those three mainly in terms of size, toughness and interior passing, never mind the Hall of Fame talent. Bynum-Gasol-Odom-Artest (throw in Bill Walton with the 1985-86 Celtics) had similarities in that regard, but I think this front line will be better because of the superior future Hall of Fame talent. Kareem-Rambis-Worthy-McAdoo is another one I thought of, but I think the Celtics front line is the best comparison .. at least POTENTIALLY.

Oh, and I guess Danny Green is our .... Danny Ainge?? Oy. Wish we had a DJ though.

Don’t like the Celtics but like the comparison. If Boogie plays close to his potential, this will be special. Steal of free agency I’m willing to bet right now. LeBron & AD might be fighting for the MVP award. Other teams might have a better regular season record than us but I’ll take our Lakers against anyone in a 7 game series!!

As of now I have us winning it all, Frank needs to prove he is a championship coach. Time is now with this team IMO. Boogie looks thin and in shape, looks ready. It's our year, fuck the Clippers. If it comes down to the Lakers and Clippers in the WCFinals it will be the highest watched WCFinals ever.
