as a Steelers fan, I can't take another shitshow team situation. We are officially at the crossroads as an organization. Things will not remain the same. They can turn into the Spurs or the Knicks right now. Every decision from here on will determine their fate.

The Colts were a shit show for a couple of years until Irsay cleared the shit out of his brains and hired Ballard, now we are a top 5 team in the league again. I know I know, Luck is healthy so of course we should be :roflmao:

The Lakers need to hire Griffin and get Monty to Coach.

I agree and IMO he gets most of the blame for the season being a shitshow as I have posted in the past. We aren't getting David Griffin, the Pelicans just hired him.

I do believe LeBron can still be a great player for a couple of more years but he needs his type of players around him and his type of coach to be successful. He's definitely a top 10 player of all-time but top 5 is pushing it. He has always needed major help to win his championships, he would only have 1 had he not went to Miami to team up with a dream team in Wade and Bosh, then Allen even joined them. Most people that are close to 50 like I am or over 50 would have Jordan, Magic, Kareem, and Wilt rated higher than him all-time. Kobe and Bird were just as great IMO as well, and Russell was the greater winner. Bird has just as many championships and even won MVP of the League 3 years in a row from 1984-86, LeBron nor Jordan never won 3 League MVP's in a row. Shaq has more championships than LeBron does.

So was Kobe, but the Odom/Gasol moves plus the return of Fish and Phil and the key play of Ariza and Artest allowed him to thrive. The Lakers are obligated to do the same for Lebron.

Kobe was arrogant but not toxic. Huge difference IMO. LeBron chases off coaches and distances himself from teammates almost everywhere he goes. Kobe just needed 1 or 2 players that were solid to win without Shaq, so he complained to the FO until we got him help which was Gasol. If you look at the Heat teams that LeBron played on, they were more talented than the teams Kobe played on in 2009 and 2010. LeBron would not of won a championship with our group in 2009 or 2010.

By sticking to the plan to bring in another all-star and a couple key talents (3 & D guys, etc.) to help LeBron and our youngsters get a real head of steam. We used to take winning for granted . . and we struggled through the 1992-1998 era the same way we're struggling now. A winning formula is on the horizon -- it was here for the first 20+ games until injuries and the inconsistency related to them caused us to lose our mojo. Players know that teaming up with LeBron is a formula for success - nobody who played with him regrets it, or should - and unless injuries keep demonizing us, we should focus on putting all the dysfunction and ill-fated stuff behind us and keep preparing for next season. How these playoff teams perform could have an effect on the pool of players who may be eligible to join us.

"At no time before or during his employment here was this allegation reported to the Lakers," the statement read. "If it had been, we would have immediately commenced an investigation and notified the NBA. Since Luke Walton is now under contract to another team, we will have no further comment."

So this chick "met him in his hotel room to discuss a book deal"?? Sounds like a typical entrapment situation by a hussy who was out for some superstar d*ck. Good luck, Luke. Talk to Kobe about how to handle it :waaaaa: .

At least this happened after the headscratching fire/hire . . the Lakers don't need anymore bad press.

Yeah I heard about the sexual assault allegation against him. It may not even be true but it is good that he isn't the Lakers coach anymore because we do not need this bad press right now. The last thing we need is anymore bad press.
