Yeah I can't wait. I am into Baseball alot because of the Cubs and the Colts even look like they may be good this season but I am ready for some Laker Basketball. I am very excited for the season to get going! We are no longer a joke anymore. It's fun knowing that we at least have a Playoff team.

Pre-Season starts Sunday night, that is BIG! Lakers play the Nuggets in San Diego, 930pm my time. I have to work all day Saturday but once I get off Saturday evening I am on vacation for a week. Stanford at Notre Dame play Saturday night (both are 4-0 and ranked in the top 10), the Baseball Playoffs will be going on all week - Go Cubs, and the Colts play the Texans at home on Sunday in a huge division game. Huge sports week coming up. I picked a hell of a week to be off. We get Lakers Basketball finally come Sunday night! I am going to eat like a king and drink me some Crown all damn week, work has burnt me out as I have been averaging around 60 hours a week for a while now.

-Kenny eventhough it is Pre-Season are you creating a Game Day Thread for Sunday? Lakers Basketball is back

Seeing *exciting* and *hyped-up* pre-season highlights (basically anything LeBron does) will be great, but a little frustrating at times because 1) all the sports shows are going to be showing them over and over, and more importantly 2) these games won't mean anything. Yes, the real-time on-court cohesion is important, but the NBA preseason - like Cactus League baseball and the extended NFL preseason - only makes it harder to wait for the real thing!

We need to pray for HEALTH, winning line-ups and effective rotations from Luke, great shooting (including from 3) and a defense that rivals the best in the league. On paper, we match-up well with any team from a size standpoint, and with certain combinations we should be able to play half-court grind-em-out ball and speedy fast-pace, depending on the opponent. Stephen A. Smith thinks we should at least get deep into the 2nd round - where we could potentially face the Warriors or Rockets, or get an easier path and squeeze-out a WCF appearance. LeBron wants to prove he can be just as effective in the West before his sun starts to set, and he's going to get his chance.
