Pretty good game considering we missed a ton of free throws & the refs fucked us on 2 huge calls against us which were obviously incorrect. (9 point switch)

If the refs didn't take that basket away from Clarkson, it never would have been an over time game.

We damn near won the game, very entertaining game and night. I watched Kobe's halftime retirement of the jersey's ceremony. Got a bit teary eye'd. Pretty cool having both numbers retired! Only Kobe could pull that off :pissedkobe:

-I didn't think anyone could match Magic as far as winning in a Laker uniform but Kobe matched him. Just was a joy to watch and a winner!

Clarkson shot got called off even though his first shot clearly hit the rim. SMFH!! Then don’t forget KCP’s breakaway fast break where he was clearly fouled by Durant. It was clear as day. Then they came back down with numbers and made a 3-pointer. 5 point switch right there! Them bastards!!

In saying that,

Yeah it sucks but these are the calls that go in great teams favor. We used to get that kind of treatment (except from that bald dude who’s now retired). And now it’s the Warriors turn.

And even with all that, The Lakers were right there. We even found away to take this game to Overtime. We’re starting to believe! I can actually envision Kuzma, Ingram, Lonzo, Clarkson, Nance ..... playing with a superstar or 2. That right balance of veteran superstar leadership with our young up & comers could be a real problem for the rest of the league. I mean we’re already figuring things out without a leader. I say the future is bright brethren from anotheren!!! CAN YOU DIG IT??!!??

Fun night, brethren, but the loss still hurts. Two horrible goaltending calls, Ingram got creamed twice with no call go to the rack and on one of them, Durant gets an "and one" on a ticky tack at the other end. Warriors got all the loose balls, we missed our fucking free throws again and we let Kevon Looney get lay ups at will. Kevon fucking Looney! Yet, we still forced an OT and Lonzo was superb in OT and will continue to improve. The overall effort was fantastic!

The Kobe stuff was great, too, of course. Tributes at every timeout and they gave everyone an 8 and 24 jersey. You can tell he's moved on with his life though. When his head was in basketball, in was in it 150%. He's giving that same effort in his new life endeavors and I just got the vibe from him that his head is not in basketball anymore and that's OK.

Good times.

Yeah Kobe seems very content with life after Basketball much like Peyton regarding Football. Peyton just wants to spend time with his kids and wife and do commercials much like Kobe wants too with his family. They remind me of the same person. I doubt Kobe ever gets involved in Basketball again as far as trying to own a team or be a GM like Magic. Because Magic had to retire early in his career I don't think he has ever been content that is the difference. Kobe was able to play 20 seasons and is simply content and enjoys doing things outside of Basketball. Just my 2 cents.
