Fantasy Basketball League

After this week of play everyone would've played each other once and we will be through 70 games of match. If I can get out of this week still being in first I will take it as the first stretch of the season will be complete. I need at least a 6-4 win over Robert to stay ahead of Nuggs. Nuggs is going to probably win 8-2 this week. The next 2 nights should go my way, I should say hopefully it will as I have a ton of players playing and have everyone active.

Looking much better now, up 7-3. I have to keep the pressure on Nuggs as he rarely loses. He is still up 8-2 in his match.

Getting my ass kicked by L4L, missing those Monday stats from 3 players kinda screwed me but still -- damn! I must be having a slow fantasy week because I have a solid lineup. Ahh, competition! :panic:

Robert is being very competitive as well. The more the merrier. Robert is pretty good about setting his lineup though. Yeah it looks like Craig is on it this week. I think Kenny is up 9-1 in his match!

Official Standings through 7 weeks = 70 games. The 1st Stage!
1. 3Peat 48-21-1
2. Nuggs 47-23
3. Rev 40-27-3
4. Kenny 36-33-1
5. Craig 32-37-1
6. Robert 27-40-3
7. Frankie 25-44-1
8. GDub 20-50

I had to make serious moves to assure I won 2 categories against Robert being Assists and FT's made to hold off Nuggs to stay in 1st because Nuggs won his match 9-1. I picked up Burke, Lavine, and Hood and dropped the 3 bad players I had. No way in hell was I falling in 2nd place through this 1st stage. My matches so far look like this - 9-1 over Frank/7-3 over GDub/3-7 loss to Rev/5-5 tie with Nuggs/9-1 over Kenny/7-2-1 over Craig/8-2 over Robert = 48-21-1. Rev has been the only one to stifle me so far!

Breaking News: I remembered to set my week! Sorry Robert, I'm gonna have to smash on you. Hopefully 3Peat and Nuggs have tough weeks so I can gain a little ground . . I finally get Harrison Barnes back sometime this week - been missing him for a couple weeks.

Actually I am playing Frankie not GDub. It showed GDub this morning LOL. Nuggs has Kenny.

I have won 4 in a row in Fantasy Football and rolling now. I started 1-9 and unfortunately that put me in the Toilet Bowl bracket but I just beat my last opponent 101-55 LOL. I have Ben healthy and my other players are healthy + I have the Chiefs Defense. I think I will win that at least. Last season I almost won the whole thing in the main bracket but I had Luck at his best and a real solid team.

Frankie playing his ass off this week against me. It's 5-5 and I only have 1 player tonight in RUSSELL, Batum is questionable. I'll leave my roster as is because I don't want to tamper with it and there isn't much out there right now anyway but after tonight I may be behind Frankie??

I got lucky last night because Frank didn't have anyone play either. I still got out of that at 5-5. Russell screwed my stats last night with his craptastic 1-9 shooting for 2 Points but it didn't hurt me. I have a stacked lineup playing tonight.

Through 80 games/8 weeks the 3Peat still remains #1. Despite my man Frankie giving me fits at a 5-5 tie I am holding on to first. After my battle with Frankie I need a shot of Crown and need to buy him a Shot as well! Nuggs is within .5 of me!

Rev, I have you 7-3 so far but there is a long way to go. I would be happy just to get a 6-4 win to avenge my only weekly loss :)

ThreePizzle take a gander at my injury status and you'll see why I lost to Rob and will likely succumb to you in this shortened holiday week. I'm not going to waste my time trying to switch and claim and junk -- just let the chips fall where they may. In retrospect this entire season hinged upon my unavailability to live draft and pick Chef Steph. I like my team at 100% strength though. And of course the playoffs await no matter how far ahead you are CHUMP!!! (went with the Tate flavor right there :fireworxsee: )

I was very fortunate to have Curry fall in my lap. In all honesty I have enjoyed this because I love my lineup. Loving your lineup has a ton do with loving playing in these things. Last year when I played Fantasy Football I loved it because I knew I had a lineup that could win it all and I had Andrew dominating most weeks. I didn't win it all but had the 3rd best record in that league out of 12 teams. In this years Fantasy Football I wasn't that good but I didn't like my lineup. I just got eliminated. I still think Nuggs is the man to beat in our league, he wont come out and say it but he hasn't played his best and there he sits .5 behind me and I have played Great so far. It will take a lot of LUCK to beat Nuggs in the Playoffs.
