True Lakers Fans

In the TrueFan spirit, I though I'd kick this topic off with this tweet! Let's hope that these kids can keep perspective and be realistic. On the other hand, fuck that! I'd rather them think they can be world beaters and win every game!

Blank slate, clean slate, hangover over, still carrying the scars from a post-lockout, post-CBA domestic abuse, tear stains salty and dried on our cheeks, no more Kobe, no more Mitch, (no more snitch? ), still Magic, Jeannie, Luke and the heart and spirit of Dr. Buss, Chick and the Great Western Laker Nation still beating loudly and proudly!! I am in L.A. as I type this, going to swing by Staples today and pay my homage to the greats!

For all we as True Fans have endured, we definitely deserve a resurgence . . in the way the Raiders, Dodgers, USC Trojans and L.A. Rams are bringing a buzz to Southern California, the Lakers can double-down on all of that by playing .500 ball or better and giving the NBA something to raise its eyebrows to

Yeah this is honestly the most excited I have been for a Basketball season since 2013 when we got Dwight and Nash (which didn't work out but was excited because we didn't know). It's been a long time since we have been Good, haven't been Great since 2010. Lonzo is the man and will lead us to at least a .500 season IMO which is a huge improvement. Then Magic will add the necessary Free Agents next summer and then look out!

Looking at our first 20 Regular Season games I have no doubt we can start better than last seasons 10-10 (Health providing). Man if we can start something like 13-7 then the team will keep feeding off wins and gain confidence. The schedule will even out but a nice start would finally give us something to talk smack about and smile about for a while. Lonzo will make everyone around him better so I can see Randle and Ingram getting a lot of easy points, same for Lopez. Watch out for Kuzma too, he may be the rookie that shocks everyone with a solid season. Last thing, with Lonzo on the team I can see Nance having some nasty dunks on the break! I see Lonzo at 13 Points, 9 Assists, and 6 Boards in his rookie season = all-around solid. Yes 9 Assists, it wouldn't surprise me if it was at 10.

Pictures can't be any bigger than 256 KiB . . to what size (pixels?) do you shrink photos to get under the size limitation?
