This game features 2 teams that have struggled all season, the Blazers come into Staples with a 5-9 record which has them in last place in the Northwest Division and the Lakers are sitting at 2-10 which has them in last place in the Pacific Division. The Blazers however are coming off a 102-91 win over the LA Clippers so could ride that momentum. The Lakers are still trying to figure out their team chemistry and are hoping their young players will just keep improving in DAR, Randle, and Clarkson. Julius Randle is coming off perhaps his best game of the season with 18 Points and 12 Rebounds against the Raptors but unfortunately it was in a loss!

6:30pm start. Let's see if D'Angelo can keep his groove from last game vs. a PG who has elevated his own game tremendously over his first few years in the league.

This is a winnable - but McCollum and Plumlee will be a challenge - not to mention our former guy Ed Davis. Fight fight fight!! Every game is a chance to build cohesion and improve on both ends.

Down 50-44 late in the 2nd QTR. So far Kobe and Clarkson have played well but nobody else is doing much. Lillard already has 14 Points. We continue to get killed by the opposing Point Guards every damn game.

I'm about to go to my method I did late last year, which is to just DVR them and see if 1) Kobe went off OR 2)they won the game

(Apparently #1 will never happen, again. #2 may be once a month going forward - hard to justify wasting 2.5 hours of TV mindlessness disgust for that!)

Then watch it later...............I don't even get too excited to see them do the little things anymore. We have had a star on the Lakers almost every year I can remember. Next year we will have none. Kobe isn't even our star this year, so it wreaks a bit of the 90s and some of the 70s. It seems the Lakers are the only team without a star, anymore, or one breaking out. Stern really fucked us good - I hope he is happy. I put him in the same category as ISIS, so he better not show his fuckin face nearby!

Yeah Stern did us dirty. We haven't recovered from the CP3 situation and this season looks to be the 3rd straight season where we don't even win at least 30 games. We may be lucky to win 20 at this rate.

Yeah, Philly is a complete mess. I am not even sure Okafor can turn that carp around, it's that bad!

He has knee issues stemming from an ACL. Mitch said before the season, this season he's going to take it slow with him.
