If we keep our Top 3 pick, would Ingram and that pick be enough to land Paul George? I think Bird would want more but you never know? If we could pull that off I put Bird in Vlade's category :roflmao: I think it will take Ingram, Randle and the pick to get it done. Bird isn't Vlade unfortunately. Paul George is a Top 10-15 player in the league so it will take a lot to get him, I personally think he is Top 10. He was Top 10 easily before his injury and he seems to be getting there again. He lost to the best player in the league but even held his own there IMO. Had the Pacers played Boston, that would've went 6 or 7. Bird isn't going to entertain Russell or Clarkson, trust me on that. He already has Teague who is young and better than both, he also has CJ Miles who is a better 3pt shooter than both.

I don't know if I would give up that much. If so, then Bird would have to take Mozgov off our hands.

I'm in full agreement. The truth is that what is coming out of Jeanie's, Magic's and Pelinka's mouths is no different than the prior regime, so patience is the only true option here IMO. Paul George's situation could very well remain fluid until the trade deadline in February.

Pelinka mentioned a Center as a target piece.

I think the new regime love Ingram and like the rest of the guys enough to want to see them next season.

I concur. Bring on PG-13 if he wants to take advantage (and Rob has talked to his agent assuring more talent will follow) and let's AT LEAST get into the Blazers/Jazz/Rockets conversation. At least.

If George joins us it will be through FA...

PG will be 27 on May 26th. In 4 years he'll be at about the age Kobe was when he won his second batch of titles. We know he isn't Kobe, but maybe Ingram will be by then and perhaps they will get another PG age player, like Cousins or Blake Griffin, to pair with him. Who knows.

Larry Bird steps down from Pacers as President of OPS. Kevin Pritchard now running the team. What does this mean for Paul George? Magic may be able to fleece this guy and get PG without giving up a lot.

I'd like to think Larry and Earvin have been talking. That would be classic.

Paul George was spotted in DisneyLand today, my hunch is telling me he will be a Laker next season. I have been hearing on local radio that the chances of him leaving the Pacers are better than 50% now that Bird is out.

Or maybe he'll shock us all and take a deal with the Clippers . . they'll be re-tooling and looking to shake things up. Join us for next week's episode of "Who wants to be a Laker?"

Local connections rarely work out.

Greek Freak is more realistic in 4 seasons.

You're right. No arguments there except that Greek Freak is a real long shot, even in 4 years.

We need this pick!!! But unfortunately the odds are NOT in our favor. We'll need a little bit of "Magic" to keep our pick. (45% we keep it. 55% we don't).

Lonzo Ball better live up to his Daddy's hype because I have a feeling that is who we will pick. Most think Fultz will be #1.
