INSIDE NEWS UPDATE FROM SCOTT:

Like I told you, he knows a guy who plays volleyball with Luke & Jud Buechler, so .....

1) D'Angelo Russell was full of himself and uncoachable, so he doesn't check all the boxes of the type of players that Magic & Rob are looking for; and
2) They do not think that highly of Julius Randle. Look for him to be traded.

I can still see Magic giving the Pacers Clarkson and Randle and a future pick for PG, we will see. Clarky is very tradable and if they don't like Randle then the writing is on the wall.

The other option would be to package one or both of them with Deng for expiring contracts and picks.

Definitely, man if we could get rid of Deng's contract that would be huge! I am very happy we got rid of Mozgov's, that was a miracle in itself.

"full of himself and uncoachable"

Probably
Julius
Earvin
Mike
Bird

That being said, oh well. Makes the loss of Mitch and Jimmy that much more tolerable.

Pelinka being smart. Teams will want to trade players with expirings to free up cap space and throw us a pick or 2 to do it. That or we'll sign McLemore to a big one year contract and Ennis for cheap. Or none of the above. Jodie Meeks is off the board for cheap, but he has proven to be impatient.

How would you feel about signing George Hill to maybe just a big 1 yr deal? He could give Lonzo a lot of advice being a seasoned VET and he is not real old. He just turned 31 in May and he plays Great Defense. He has always been a Great locker room guy as well in San Antonio, Indiana, and Utah. Every teams he has played on has had a nice history of winning. I think he would be a solid backup PointG to Lonzo. He did average 17 Points a game as a side note with Utah last season so he can score. Clarkson can mainly play SG on our team but still Point if he has too as well.

That won't happen. I don't know who has cap space left, but watch the Spurs wind up with him somehow. Remember, they want to trade Aldridge, so a three team deal could happen with the Spurs winding up with Hill.

Yeah I was just throwing it out, thinking outside the box a little. I haven't seen anyone mention it and figured I would get a straight direct answer from you on it. If the Spurs get him that would be a nice pickup for them. He still actually looks like he has a good 3 years left in him.

Hey, someone for Lonzo to mentor. Maybe his character, shot and defense can all be fixed! :rofl4:

3Peat, your thoughts. Mine are: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!

I think probably this though. If Magic & Rob can pull this off, instant credibility!

Yeah I really hope so, if am not mistaken Ramona also tweeted this may happen. Hill and PG are really good friends as well. Maybe Hill wants to play with PG in LA. I just threw this out there yesterday hoping maybe this could happen but I know it is still a long shot.
