Jim Buss is removed as co-trustee. Jeanie Buss now has complete of the Lakers. So it's Jeanie, Magic, and Rob. Great news day for the Lakers. Now we can completely move on from the Jim/Mitch era!

"Only Golden State has a better home record than Boston's 20-4 mark in 2017, so the Celtics would love to have home-court advantage throughout the East finals. But they also know that doesn't matter until much later, and their only focus is now."

This is, this should be, our only focus. At a great cost to Kobe's legacy and the Lakers' franchise history, we afforded the Boston Celtics their latest Larry O'Brien trophy after they made a blockbuster trade for Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. Pau Gasol was not ready, nor was Lamar Odom. Yes, we rebounded from that Massacre to win two straight titles, but it still kept us short of the Celtics all-time record for most championships. After six-plus seasons of random futility, drastic uncontrollable upheaval and change, we find ourselves looking up to an NBA that is moving on with or without us.

Our Archrivals, under a steady guidance from the most hated Leprechaun Danny Ainge, have successfully taken advantage of an Eastern Conference that has been dominated by one man for several years, and are now being taken seriously as a favorite for the Finals.

Jeannie, Magic, Rob . . it's Showtime.

Yeah they are so far ahead of us that it is scary. They have a Very Good Coach/maybe Great, they have a SuperStar in Thomas and solid Role Players up and down their Roster. If they add 1 more Good to Very Good player in the offseason they may rule the East as LeBron is starting to show wear and tear as he is aging. They tried for Paul George, thank God Larry didn't budge. PG had 43 Points against the Cavs last night with LeBron guarding him most of that game, imagine if he and Thomas played together!
