3Peat, do I have to list all the #2 busts for you again?

I understand their have been many #1 and #2 picks be busts but my point to that whole topic is, when you select a player at #2 you expect them to be great otherwise you wouldn't select that player that high. When he got Drafted at #2 that is high praise and all I am saying is he needs to play like the #2 pick and he hasn't so far. Whether he will be a bust or pan out, only time will tell. To me panning out is making a few All-Star teams and leading your team to the Playoffs consistently. Maybe by year 4 he will blossom by then? As of now I can see him struggling next season too as the team probably wont be any good again.

If we keep our pick and wind up with either Lonzo Ball or Markelle Fultz, I think Russell and/or Clarkson will be traded. It is too early to tell HOW bad we'll be next season, but we won't be a playoff team barring a miracle.

If we end up with Fultz or Ball' we will not have to trade bc Russell is a starter. Clarkson is a worthy 6th man and neither of them may be better than Russell.

Maybe the great guard resurgence ended with Lillard

When you look around the league, suddenly their are a ton of young bigs with all-star potential. I hope you're on to something.

If we Draft Ball we technically could keep all 3, start Ball at PG, Russell at SG, and put Clarky back in his 6th man role. Our Guard depth would be deep. I think Zubac will be Good next season regarding our Center, he is already showing solid potential.
