D'Angelo looking a bit off last few games, and Ingram isn't really confident as a shooter right now, if they trend upwards the next few months, and Nick has the same impact, everything else is sustainable.
I 'm expecting a 6-4 start to the season now.
This game made me realize that ANY NBA player should be able to play solid defense. Seriously, how long did it take guys like Ray Allen and Paul Pierce to figure it out. It's a matter of focus, dedication, hustle and a coach who understands the right combination of players to put on the floor. The second unit backcourt of Clarkson and Lou Williams is a perfect example. Both are (were) considered poor defensive players, but if Lou Williams is put in a position to defend point guards and Clarkson make use of his natural athletic abilities, a smart defensive scheme coupled with good communication can reap excellent results on the perimeter at the defensive end, not to mention the consequential transition points.
