Preseason Game 7: Warriors vs Lakers Game Thread

The Warriors are set to do battle vs our LA Lakers. The game is being played at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA. It is Game 7 of 8 being played in the preseason for the Lakers. Lakers come in at 2-4 and the Warriors 4-1. This is my Atari version of the Game Day Thread

This used to be our sparring partner, now we are theirs. Kevin Durant?? For real?? Oh well. The REAL season (not the real-real season) is upon us. Time to keep climbing! Hopefully Ingram can show flashes of brilliance in advance of his ROY season . . . ?

Lakers down 9 at the Half 52-43. Nobody is really doing anything special but the Lakers aren't getting blown out. Hanging tough and the Warriors are playing their starters.

Lakers lost 123-112. Durant 27 and Curry 32 combined for 59 points. For the Lakers Nick Young was 5-10 from 3! Young seems like a different player under Coach Walton.

Watched most of my he game at work. They came out nervous first but fought tough. Still a process. Expect a great player in Ingram in two seasons

Ingram is going to be a SuperStar in his 3rd season IMO. That is when players like Durant and Paul George started kicking ass too = season 3. I think even next season Ingram can still probably get to the point of averaging 20 per game with his Offensive game.

I don't know. He is not really ready for the NBA quite yet in terms of 82 games, that's a lot. Let's give him this season to learn. Next season, he'll grow into a rotation player with potential.
KD and PG aren't born on trees. If he can get to Caron Butler circa Wizards by year, or Eddie Jones. Paul George may be in reach but KD is a scoring machine to the max
