I am making a trade PREDICTION! Everyone knows that KCP-Ariza is all but a done deal. I believe the 3-team deal will be Ariza to the Lakers, KCP to the Pacers and Darren Collison to the Suns. The Suns will also get one or two second round picks in the deal, with one or both coming from the Lakers. The trade works on the RealGM Trade Checker.

I would like that deal for Indy, that would make Indy younger and they already have a Very Good young nucleus as it is now with Dipo, Turner, and Sabonis. It would make Indy even a better Defensive team than what they are now. Indy won again tonight and Dipo is back and looked decent. They are much like the Lakers and are on pace to win more than 50 games at 18-10.

Wow, the return of Ariza . . hope he has something left in the tank and can play well with LeBron! KCP was improving but Trevor is a skilled vet and a champion!

First, I would say that these are just hot rumors and nothing more. Execs are rumored to say that Ariza for KCP is a "done deal" and that it's just the pieces that need to be ironed out, so who knows. Another report says that nothing is imminent. Ariza did sit out his last game for no reason though.

Ariza would bring balance to the roster, another champion and someone to help guard Durant. Houston misses him terribly and the Lakers play the same kind of up tempo/iso game, so we would be the "perfect fit." Remember when Luke went to Phil and told him that he thougt Ariza should be starting ahead of him during the 2008-09 season? That was a really Cool Hand. Now Trevor would play for Luke. Cool. :beavis: I hope it happens.

The Pacers captured their 6th straight win tonight in Philly by whipping the Sixers 113-101 with Embiid even scoring 40 Points and grabbing 21 Rebounds. Both teams were at full strength but it was the Pacers who prevailed by a wide margin. The Pacers are now just a half game behind the Bucks for the 2 Seed in the East at 19-10.

What team tanks for Zion Williamson? He reminds me of a young Charles Barkley but is 2 inches taller than Charles and weighs 20 pounds more. Dude is a bowling ball and will be an easy 20/10 guy in the Pro's. This guy will definitely be a Great Pro and a can't miss. I do not miss on this much. I missed on Okafor - he has been disappointing but I also said Russell wasn't all that in the same Draft. Russell wasn't taken us anywhere. I would say I did ok with Wiggins in saying he would be solid, Wiggins isn't Great but a Very Good player. Zion to me looks like a complete beast though!

Celtics hold meeting after third straight loss to address 'inconsistencies'

BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics kept the locker room closed for 36 minutes following Friday night's 120-107 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at TD Garden, holding a team meeting to clear the air after losing a third straight game.

"Much needed," Celtics guard Kyrie Irving said of the discussion. "Much needed."

"I think everyone can see that we've obviously had some inconsistencies regarding our play, so I think it was just time to address it."

The most pointed criticisms of the team's recent play -- and the reasoning behind the meeting -- came from Irving, who repeatedly cited a lack of "cohesion" and said that there has been "some selfish play" among his teammates.

"From the beginning of this season -- one the Warriors always knew could be the last with this group -- Draymond Green understood more than most just how sensitive Kevin Durant could be to criticism from the outside. The close friends talked about trying to block everything out.

It was unclear how much their on-court and locker room feud would affect the team's chemistry, Durant's future and the group's chase to become the first back-to-back-to-back NBA champion since the 1999-2000 to 2001-02 Los Angeles Lakers.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr -- who once traded punches with Michael Jordan in one of the NBA's most famous intrasquad squabbles -- knew from experience that dust-ups happen all the time in the NBA, and the one between Durant and Green was relatively tame by comparison."

Wow. You guys see that Doncic lookaway at the end of the game vs. the Pelicans? Somebody is reading their own headlines already - Diva status? His teammate was driving for the game-tying layup (ignoring him, in other words) and actually made it to the cup, inexplicably missing from point-blank range. No matter - Doncic was still looking away - even if the layup was good, he wasn't engaged. He was looking courtside to Rick Carlisle, he didn't even try to get into the offense. Weird. Weird ending.

The Pacers are just 1 game out of the 1st Seed in the East. They are now 24-12 and have won 4 in a row after blowing Detroit out 125-88. The Pacers are very deep and have a complete team + their 1 SuperStar in Oladipo. The Pacers Big's are just destroying teams, Sabonis has developed into a Good Center, we all know about Turner, but Thaddeus Young is playing like he's 25 again this season. Bogdanovic is one of the best floor spreaders from 3 in the league as well. This team could win the East, it isn't far fetched to say that. They had the Cavs beat last season in the Playoffs.

I consider myself to be a casual follower of the pre-draft hype, but from everything I saw, Luka Doncic was the absolute no brained overall #1 pick. Never mind the stupidity of the Suns and Queens, the idea that the Hawks thought they had the next Splash Brothers with Trae Young and whoever he fuck they drafted as their fake Klay (Huerter?) was laughable. And I’m a know nothing amateur. I’m guessing I was right.

Thoughts anyone? Here's an article on why Gasol to the Lakers makes sense:

"Surround LeBron with those who are ready to play winning basketball with him." Hasn't that been the formula for 8 years? That was all Kobe asked, and he delivered 2 championships. Kuzma. Zubac. Hart. McGee. Chandler. Gasol . . . or Davis? Anybody else is on the chopping block as far as I'm concerned. Hindsight is 20-20.
