Funny stuff :roflmao: They probably will go to Houston, cause remember the Lakers have a Salary Cap but Cavs, Warriors, and Rockets don't. I mean really they don't because their FO's will go over the Cap and pay the penalty. Cavs are almost 40,000,000 Mill above the Salary Cap and nobody cares so are the Warriors. Rockets are 20,000,000 over. Lakers are under, so are the Pacers :roflmao:. If you want to win you have to go over the Cap, if not you normally cant compete with the teams that do like the Cavs, Warriors, and Rockets. You guys do realize that there is no Hard Cap. Teams can go over and just pay the Luxury Tax by signing who they want. Paying the Luxury Tax to a Billionaire dollar owner is peanuts, so why not. Dan Gilbert does it every season. The Salary Cap rules are a joke. The Salary Cap is 99,000,000 per team and the Cavs payroll is 137,000,000.

Sad. Like he does with everything else, he will put this into its proper perspective. All we can do is send our collective prayers, vibes, whatever to Pop and his family.

Same thing almost happened to me last week. Emergency brain surgery for a subdurral hematoma (brain bleed) from my blood thinners bursting an artery in my brain. Horrid pain for 2.5 weeks. I also now need heart surgery when/if I finally recover from this in 2+ months. :panic:

It's been a decent run, but I have a few more things I want to do before I join Wilt's pickup game. :slamdunk:

I was analyzing who I think are my Top Sweet 16 players in the league today based on a 1-5 Star scale, here's what I came up with.
1. LeBron = A 5 Star player
2. Durant = A 5 Star player
3. Curry = A 5 Star player
4. ADavis = A 5 Star player
5. Harden = A 5 Star player - he deserves League MVP this season!
6. Leonard = A 5 Star player *(when healthy)
7. Westbrook = A 5 Star player
8. Kyrie = A 4.5 Star player *(when healthy)
9. Greek Freak = A 4.5 Star player
10. Embiid = A 4.5 Star player
11. PG-13 = A 4.5 Star player - just missed my Top 10.
12. Derozan = A 4.5 Star player
13. Oladipo = A 4 Star player
14. KThompson = A 4 Star player
15. Wall = A 4 Star player
16. Lillard = A 4 Star player
-Tell me what you think! I didn't forget CP3, he is just older and although still Very Good, he's not what he was 2 years ago. He is still a 4 Star player though IMO.

-It is amazing how OKC is losing to the Jazz 3-1 considering OKC has a 5 Star player and a 4.5 Star player IMO. Goes to show you how much Team Chemistry means as well. Sometimes it can beat overall talent. That's what I love about Oladipo from Indy. To me Mitchell for the Jazz is my Rookie of the Year though and already a 4 Star player.

Not sure if Harden's lack of defense puts him above a healthy Kawhi, but he can flat-out dust just about anybody in the league and he has truly shown his elite status. KD is a hell of a scorer too whose defense may not be the strongest, but again his overall court presence gives him elite status. I don't know if I'd have Klay this high on the list because he's a very streaky player who can disappear at times. A lot of these guys on your list are smaller guards whose offense outweighs their defense, but hey it's a scorer's league! Very soon, these 2nd, 3rd and 4th year young phenoms will replace some of the names on this list.

That being said . . should Melo retire?

Hypothetically, if you had a written contract guaranteeing you $27,928,140 next year, but started to suck at what you did, would you opt in or retire? :puzlyellow:

It's really a Guards/Wings league in todays game. Most guys have to be able to shoot the 3 in todays game or create off the dribble otherwise they wont last long. I suppose Boogie Cousins maybe should've made my list but an Achilles injury is a bit scary. I have ADavis and Embiid on my list and guess what they do besides dominate inside? They shoot 3's too. Regarding Melo, he looks done!

I think Paul George would love to form a tandem with LeBron in LA to counter Steph and KD, and if anybody else wants to join in, so be it. If you can't beat 'em, join em. We drafted well the last few years (with a few exceptions) and now is the time for champions.
