We all would love to see it but I don't think it will happen. I think the Warriors get the record. They will beat the Nuggets and then beat us IMO. After they play us not sure who they play after that but I think it would be cool if they started like 20-0.

Porzingis is making us and other teams look foolish and making Phil and Co. look like geniuses.

I know and we all laughed at that pick. I don't want to turn this into a bash DAR comment because that is not what I am doing but out of Okafor, Towns, Porzingis, and Mudiay - DAR has been the worst of the bunch so far. Just stating a fact and not trying to be negative. It's still a small sample size but it's factual through the first 12 or so games by these players. Okafor's team is 0-14 but he is still averaging over 18 Points a game, 7.5 Rebounds, and nearly 2 Blocks. So he is playing Good.

Russell has to be at least as good as Nick Van Exel. Because of Kobe and Fish (and Stern's basketball reasons) we're not used to seeing a traditional PG. Will he be a scorer first, or a distributor? Will his defense improve? We haven't had much to praise so far, and as the losses pile up his impact will be scrutinized more and more.

Rev, With DAR being a #2 pick he needs to be better than Nick Van Exel IMO. Exel wasn't a scrub and was Good but nothing special. DAR needs to at least be like Damian Lillard BY NEXT SEASON at worse going that high in the Draft. I am not asking him to be Curry, CP3, or Westbrook but just please by next season be like Lillard. Is that too much to ask? I don't think it is considering we passed on Okafor and DAR was the #2 pick. Lillard is only Very Good, not Great so....... I would almost bet Okafor will be at least a 20/10 guy after this season for most of his career barring no injury but he does play in a dumpster fire in Philly. Man that franchise is absolutely pathetic! As good as he has played they still cant win a game, :icantlook:

Having Jordan Clarkson already, I feel the Lakers should have probably taken Okafor in the draft and used the money they spent on Bass and Roy on Rondo.

Holy Shit! I agree with you 100% on something. That looks like something I would type :beavis:

Okafor vs Towns tonight. Stat line reads - Okafor 25 Points/12 Rebounds/2 Blocks. Towns 6 Points/2 Rebounds/2 Blocks. Okafor made Towns look like dog doo doo, blocking him, making jumpers over him, etc. I seen the highlights. Wolves won the game but it was only because Wiggins scored 32 Points and bailed their ass out. 2 years in a row I am right who should've went #1. I said Wiggins in 2014, Okafor in this past Draft. Ben Simmons should be #1 in 2016 and it isn't even close. NEXT!! Everyone can jump all over me all they want but I cannot believe we passed on Drafting Okafor. Makes me fucking sick. Imagine if we had Rondo, Clarkson, Kobe, Randle, and Okafor as our starters? Rondo had 20 Assists tonight too. We should've signed Rondo and Drafted Okafor. Until someone can prove me wrong other than saying have patience than you have no right to bash my opinion. I know Philly is 0-15 but Okafor is on a team that absolutely stinks and everyone knows it.

Sup 3peat.
First off, thanks for not making football comparisons. :waaaaa:
Second, Of course Okafor may end up being the better player. Shit Poorstinkus er whatever hi Knick ass name is looks all worldly right now. But, Russel was chosen for his higher ceiling and that will take a good while to reach. It was a risk either way.
Lastly, to your point that Okidokes plays on a shitty team. Maybe Oka goes to a solid team and doesn't pile up stats. See Kobe Bryant playing behind Eddie Jones. Maybe Russel goes to a vet team and that leadership (or better shooting for fucks sake) makes HIM look all worldly too. In other words, the team you play for does directly affect how good you are perceived to be initially but not necessarily the team's record. I hope they got it right with Russel. :scared2:

Oh I am rooting the guy to succeed. It's imperative that Russell becomes Very Good at worse for the Lakers to become a good team again. As of now he isn't even better than Clarkson.

Cavs lose again. They are now 11-4 through 15 games, pretty good but nothing spectacular. Pacers rolled last night against the Wizards. Paul George hung 40 on them! Pacers could challenge the Cavs in the East. Pacers are at 9-5 only a 1.5 games back of them.

Warriors now 17-0! Pacers are looking strong too in the East, PG with another huge night. They are now 10-5 as they whipped the Bulls tonight.

The Celtics are looking better; I'm afraid they're going to make a resurgence before we make ours. We're destined to meet again.
