Lets just face it, we aren't going to make any trades and we wont pick anyone up in the offseason either worth anything. So we will suck again next season as in we wont be a Playoff team. Our young guys better get it together next season because that is year 3 for Russell and Randle, year 4 for Clarkson + Ingram wont be a rookie anymore. If Mitch and Jim want to roll with these guys then they need to produce and a respectable level next season. Lou Williams is the only Good Free Agent we have picked up in years and we got lucky to get him because for some reason nobody else wanted him. He was there at the end luckily.

Not that I want them to do it, but they will trade Lou for a bag of chips. What exactly did you expect this year anyway? Have some REAL patience.

Patience isn't the problem with me, I have had it for years. We haven't been technically a threat to win the Championship since the 2011 Season. We were respectable in 2012 but got bounced easily in Round 2 by OKC, then very underachieving in 2013 getting swept out of the Playoffs in Round 1. Ok stuff happens I get it, so we have to rebuild to get good again with Dwight leaving and Kobe being injury prone. So we sit through 2014 going 27-25 I really never complained, go through 2015 at 21-61 I really never complained, even last season at 17-65 I really never complained as I expected to be bad last season. My expectations for this season wasn't much as I am on record even Posting if we won 30 games it would be a great improving season, so not sure what you are driving at with the Patience saying because I have had it more than most people that Post about the Lakers. Being critical of some of our moves at times or the product we put out on the floor at times really has nothing to do with having patience. It's not like I am a constant complainer or basher of the team. I just simply don't trust the direction we are going in with 100% certainty. I am not sold on Russell becoming a SuperStar nor I am a Randle. I am not sold we have what it takes in the FO to attract big time Free Agents at this point either. Maybe having Magic in there now will help? Not sure? I like Luke Walton as that helps having a Coach that is Good but I am not even sold on him eventually being Great. Like I said my expectations weren't much this season, 30 wins was about it and I already know it will be the Cavs/Warriors in the Finals anyway. It's those teams/players time I know that.

I would do that without hesitation. That would give us a proven All-Star and we could roll out a lineup of:
Russell
Young
Butler
Nance
Black

Ingram as the 6th man, Ingram can play the 2 or 3
Deng, Deng can play the 3 or 4
Mozgov
Zubac
-If we trade Clarkson and Lou, we would still need a decent backup PG that is the only problem with this trade.

We probably offered them Lou, Clarkson, and Randle but they got greedy and wanted Ingram instead of 1 of those 3. So we pulled out. That would've been a much better deal for the Kings getting Lou, Clarkson, and Randle. It seems like ever since the CP3 deal got nixed, GM's and players have been black balling us from trying to get better through Free Agency and Trades. We cant get anyone to trade us a Great player nor does any Great FA want to come to LA. Strange if you ask me. Everyone in the media is making fun of the Kings because they got crap for Cousins. They will always be the Queens, this another example why :roflmao: Probably still not over 2002 :waaaaa:

I like Randle more than most, and I don't like DC on this team so that was a terrible deal IMO.

Jimmy would be great but he's ready to win now, by the time our kids catch up, he will be on the last legs of his prime.

I think Ingram and Zubac are going to be better fits than DC and Jimmy on most squads

I think that is a fake Twitter account, so the Butler shit is BS. Probably some Laker hater trolling Lakers fans.

It probably wont happen anyway but the LakersNation Twitter person is legit and tweeted we were interested in Jimmy Butler. That MikeAdamle guy is who I assume you are talking about being fake?

LeBron started all this bullshit in 2011 when he, Bosh, and Wade decided to all team up together in their primes to form a super team. Now some Stars think it is the norm to do so since the face of the NBA did it, like Durant for example. What LeBron did, he set the tone for todays players. People like to bring up the Lakers when Malone and Payton joined Kobe/Shaq - that wasn't the same, Malone and Payton weren't in their prime (they were on their last legs) and wanted to retire with a Ring. When Shaq left Orlando, it wasn't the same either. Shaq didn't join a super team, he actually left a better team in Orlando when he came to LA. Kobe had just got drafted and wasn't even much of a factor his rookie season.

Per Ramona Shelburne, Pacers are actively seeking a deal with Philly for Jahlil Okafor. I say go for it Larry. Okafor is averaging 11.4 Points a game in only 24 minutes of playing time. Averaged 17 Points a game in his rookie season. Sixers seem content rolling with Embiid so maybe Larry can fleece Philly out of this 21 year old potentially Great Center. I know you guys aren't Pacers fans but being from Indy they are my 2nd favorite team. I would love to see a lineup of:
Teague - Solid PG
Miles - Solid 3 point shooter, shoots 42% from 3
George - Great wing defender, best player on the team, 20 a game Scorer, All-Star
Turner - Could play his natural position if Okafor comes to Indy. He is a Very Good Defender which would compliment Okafor
Okafor - At 30 minutes a game, I can see him averaging 17 a game.
-That whole lineup is young too.

Lakers aren't going to make any trades so maybe at least the Pacers can pull this off to give me something to root for come Playoff time.
