I would like to see him win 1 more Championship before I do that. If he can somehow beat the Warriors than I agree 100%. It's not all about Championships but I also look at the long stable career Duncan had and he is regarded as the Greatest PF ever with 5 Championships. Shaq won 3 Finals MVP's in a row which nobody will ever do again IMO. Those things are hard to overlook and he has won 4 Championships. LeBron has the same amount of Championships as Larry Bird has = 3 and has only 1 more League MVP.

-When I look at players like Durant and Curry, if they keep winning Championships and piling up the Stats they will have to be moved into the Top 20 IMO, as of now they are not yet IMO. I mean Top 5 is real Elite shit, I flip flop with Kobe and Russell all the time. I deserve 1 flip flop in my list lifetime and that is it "lol4: Do I think Bill Russell was a better Basketball player than Kobe Bryant? - probably not. But I think he had more impact on the game for his time and nobody will ever win 11 Championships again being an Alpha Dog, not even close. As great as Jordan was he only won 6 and had the REFS in his back pocket for a decade :roflmao:

3Peat!!! I had to re-quote your whole comment because:

1) LeBron ALREADY BEAT THE WARRIORS!! Coming from down 1-3 in the Finals which had NEVER BEEN DONE!!! Against the greatest regular season team EVER at 73-9!!! Yes he had the great Kyrie Irving and an out-of-body performance by Tristan Thompson, but LeBron has always been the Alpha in Cleveland. That comeback was epic and Warrior "fans" will never be able to live that down. They fucked up their threepeat by letting Cleveland win three straight. Curry bitched up and LeBron did his best Kobe impression.

2) Tim Duncan's PF/C roles - and championships - came when paired with some HOF guards and shooters and he rarely got past Kobe and Shaq's Lakers. And he was as good at the FT line as Dwight  . In fact I'd take Bird :barf: over Timmy St. Croix. Another thing: LeBron has had a much more stable and consistent career than Tim Duncan, no question. And you know me -- fuck Shaq. Dude was over 7ft tall and weighed 300 pounds. He's supposed to be dominant. He was at his best when he was lean, versatile and multi-skilled for his size like Jordan, Kobe and LeBron but unlike all those dedicated, focused players, Shaq fell in love with his fame and hype and got lazy.

3) How can you say that Puke :barf: Russell was the Alpha Dog and had no refs in his pocket on Red Auerbach's super-stacked 1960s Boston team when Mike 23 had to pay his dues vs. the BAD BOYS and Bird's dirty Celtics while getting hacked before he earned the Jordan Rules? And Jordan ONLY WON SIX?? C'mon man, Jordan's NBA was/is much deeper, more competitive and more complex than Russell's could dream to be. 6 titles and 6 MVPs in the 90s is worth 20 in the 60s. Phil Jackson would have out-coached Red by a country mile if they went head-to-head. Bill Russell would have had his hands full with Bill Cartwright, Horace Grant AND Luc Longley if extrapolated and adjusted for time and complexity. Hell, Scottie Pippen and Toni Kukoc would have given Russell fits. You have to understand that Russell wasn't playing against any real competition in those days, nor was he forced to win 16 games for a title.

Ok :soapbox:

I really agree with 90% of this. Russell only had to win 2 series to win 8 of his Championships I get that which does take away a little from how many he won. Also I meant LeBron beat this Warriors team with Durant. Yes he beat the Warriors in 2016, cant take that away from him but I am talking about he beats them now with Durant there. That would show me he belongs in the Top 5. I think a player like Jordan or Magic with their teams would figure out a way to beat the 2017 Warriors IMO, with LeBron he has to show me in 2018.

-Regarding Jordan I have him ranked #1 so I cant give him anymore credit. Having said that, IMO the Pacers got ripped off in the 1998 ECFinals when they played them. Game 7 was so ridiculously REF one sided that it made me want to puke. The league was like Utah vs Indy = no fucking way :roflmao:. The Pacers that one year actually had the better team, lost in 7 games by 3 points because half the team was in Foul trouble. That was the only series I have ever seen Jordan and Phil look worried. Phil had the look of, holy shit we may actually lose this. Reggie played Jordan even in Game 7 too.

-Red Auerbach makes me want to vomit too. I am glad I didn't grow up in that era because I probably would've broke my TV looking at him winning it every year with his silly cigars!

All of this history talk got me thinking so I have been watching youtube vids of old series of the Lakers beating the Kings in 2002, Pacers beating the Knicks in 1995, etc.. I am glad the NBA Network put Reggie in their Top 50 players of all-time. That was just done recently. He deserves it. He was so clutch and tore the Knicks a new ass. I would rank him around 50 so I agree 100% with it. It came down to him and Chris Webber and it went to Reggie for #50. Durant and Curry both are in the Top 50 too regarding newer players. LeBron is 5th :roflmao: Kobe is 8th. Their Top4 = Jordan/Russell/Kareem/Magic, Wilt is 6th  Bird is 7th ahead of Kobe on their list.

3Peat's NBA News and Standings as of going into March 6th. Here's what's up:

Eastern Conference Standings - Playoff teams as of now
1. Raptors 45-17
2. Celtics 45-20
3. The LeBron 37-26
4. Pacers 37-27
5. Bullets 36-28
6. 76ers 34-28
7. Heat 34-30
8. Bucks 34-30
9. Pistons 29-35 outside looking in

Western Conference Standings - Playoff teams as of now
1. Rockets 49-13
2. Warriors 49-14
3. Blazers 38-26
4. Pelicans 36-26 .581%
5. Spurs 37-27 .578%
6. Wolves 38-28 .576%
7. Thunder 37-28
8. Nuggets 35-28
9. Clippers 34-28 outside looking in

-Lakers news = Lakers are currently 11th in the Western Conference with a 28-35 record. They are on pace to win 36 games which would be 10 more than last seasons 26 wins. Tonight was a disappointing loss, a game we had but Damian Lillard is a Laker killer!

-In each Conference look at teams 3-8! Talk about parity! This is going to be very entertaining to see what teams finish where! Also the #1 Seeds in both Conferences are up for grabs between teams 1 and 2. Great stuff folks!

-I made a friendly wager with a guy I work with at the All-Star Break that the Pacers would make the Playoffs. As of now it looks to be a lock! He really thought the Pistons would catch them :roflmao:. He hates the Pacers too and thought they would fall apart so I am loving this, he's from Detroit. The Pacers have a brutal schedule down the stretch but are 8 games ahead of the Pistons so I think I am safe. Pacers could end up 8th though as that is a possibility. They also could end up 3rd as the East is all bunched up.

3. The LeBron 37-26
4. Pacers 37-27

Western Conference Standings - Playoff teams as of now
1. Rockets 50-13
2. Warriors 50-14
3. Blazers 39-26
4. Pelicans 37-26
5. Spurs 37-27 .578%
6. Wolves 38-28 .576%
7. Thunder 37-29

The Pacers do have a brutal schedule down the stretch but are 8 games ahead of the Pistons so I think I am safe.

-As of heading into March 7th, here are the teams with the 8 best records in the league: Elite 8!
1. Rockets 50-13
2. Warriors 50-14
3. Raptors 46-17
4. Celtics 45-20
5. Blazers 39-26
6. Pelicans 37-26 (has tiebreak over The LeBron)
7. The LeBron 37-26
8. Pacers 37-27 (has tiebreak over Spurs who are also 37-27)

-Since the Lakers wont be in the Playoffs I am pulling for the Pacers in the East and Blazers in the West. My Lakers are a big market team but outside of that there is nothing like watching small market teams win just to piss off the media and TV ratings :Nutskick:. Especially 2 teams that weren't picked to do jack shit this season :roflmao:. What those 2 teams have is an All-Star and Great Chemistry is why they are Good. Dipo and Lillard both are amazing, really borderline SuperStars. Chemistry for a team is huge, when a team has players that love playing with one another that makes all the difference in the world!

I am off work now until Monday night! Tomorrow night Cavs at Lakers and Pacers at Celtics! That is great stuff there. Plus the NCAA seeding's will be announced too. Hey work :anfinger: I picked the perfect day to be off and go in late on Monday! I just worked 14 fucking hours, they can have it for a couple of days.
