I would probably say Phil and the Knicks need to part ways, I wouldn't trade Melo either. The Porzinigis pick was Great IMO so Phil does have that at least. He is their foundation, Melo still has a good 3 years left too. I like Hornacek, he just doesn't have much to work with. Knicks are similar to the Lakers actually. The 49ers are a mess but they do have 5 Championships that they can fall back on. It started when Harbaugh departed. He is a Great Coach, I am not sure if Shanahan and Lynch can turn them around. They do have the 2nd pick of the Draft but the problem is there is no Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson there. Who do they take at #2?

Durant returns to Oklahoma tomorrow night to take on Westbrook. Westbrook and Durant rank 2nd all-time with the most 25 Point+ games in the same game as teammates. They did it 124 times. Only Jerry West and Elgin Baylor had more games of both scoring 25 or more a piece in a game together. It will be a tough task for Westbrook and crew as the Warriors are one of the best teams of all-time. Draymond Green recorded a team record with 10 Steals in their win tonight over the Grizz.

-Just a feeling I have but I can see Westbrook going for 50 Points tomorrow night and OKC pulling it out. :ak47:

2014 #41 pick Nikola Jokic > 2015 #4 pick Kristaps Porzingis this season. Stay tuned for Ivica Zubac next season! All-Star potential 3-4 years from now and perhaps the biggest coup among our young players.

If I were Phil, I'd just leave that Shit Show, retire and beg Jeanie to marry me.

If I were Phil I would too. He is still IMO the Greatest HeadCoach of all-time so nothing will change that with my eyes. Red was Great, Riley and Pop too but Phil was the master at getting great players to be able to play together and win a ton of Championships. He should just marry Jeanie and call it a day. Jeanie is smart, owns the Lakers, and is a beautiful woman so Phil don't blow it :roflmao:

-Zubac was balling last night, I think he is going to be really good!

OKC didn't win but I almost nailed Westbrook getting 50, he had 47. The Warriors are just too great and too deep.

By the way Kevin Love is out at least 6 weeks, knee surgery. No way the Cavs can trade him now, who would want him now?

A team that doesn't need him for the next 6 weeks. Why would they want to trade him? Their seeding is meaningless.

The big rumor was Knicks were trading Melo for him because LeBron doesn't have enough help. I seriously doubt the Knicks would even entertain that at all now. Melo has a no trade clause anyway but I bet he would love to play with LeBron.

Playing on the USA Olympic team vs. the NBA are two different animals. Melo is who he is an an NBA player and the last thing the Cavs need is a ball stopping scorer who plays no defense. No way they even consider it.

I agree with you but LeBron wanted Melo. Maybe Dan Gilbert is smart after all. I don't see anyway they beat the Warriors so it's a moot point. LeBron isn't Michael Jordan by my eye test so as a fan I don't fear him to be able to beat a team like that. He was really lucky last season and has choked way too many times in the past for me to think he and the Cavs can beat Curry, Thompson, Green, and now DURANT without HCA. That isn't happening. Warriors realistically may win in 5. Spurs don't have a chance either but will take them 6 IMO.

If the Warriors win the Championship this season would you guys put them up there with teams like the 85/87/88 Lakers, 1996 Bulls, and 1986 Celtics? They won it all in 2015, won 73 games last season but lost in 7 to LeBron's, but now have a team that consists of Curry, Thompson, Green, and Durant. Our big4 in 1987 was Magic, Kareem, Worthy, and Scott. The Warriors look scary as hell!

If they win three championships it will be a dynasty and then we can speak of them that way. The Lakers went to three consecutive NBA Finals between 2008-10, winning two, but people don't think of them as an all-time great team.

I think the 2010 Lakers are very underrated, once we added Ronny we became lethal on Defense. That was Pau's best season as well regarding playing tough in the Playoffs, he got the better of Garnett. Kobe had 7 game winners that season as well, he was Magic like. We beat a Great team in Boston in the Finals. Probably underrated because it wasn't Shaq/Kobe/Horry but still that 2009/2010 version was Great, Pau brought it those seasons in the Playoffs.
