Yep. They get him they could definitely win the East. This would be awful! I am assuming the Thunder would at least get Isiah Thomas and one of their Good Role players if a deal is done but this still sucks! The Great news is, they cant beat the Warriors and if the Warriors win it all it wont even be that bad now because they just lost so no Repeat or 3Peat either for them. It would just be their 2nd Championship, I can live with that.

Unfortunately The Celtics rebuild although abrupt was very quick. Then with them being in the east, they have an easier path to the Finals. But............

FUCK BOSTON!!! I like The Lakers loyalty. They didn't stockpile draft picks at the expense of Kobe's farewell tour. #Laker Pride

And for reasons that have become more irritating with the passage of time, our rebuild was thwarted by one swift nixing of a trade that would have reaped a star player to attract free agents and some breathing room cap wise. So we got fucked and then made sacrifices for Kobe .. as we should have in the scheme of things.

Since 1980 we have been the best franchise and it hasn't even been close with 10 Championships. The Celtics only have 4, Bulls have more than the Celtics with 6 and Spurs have more with 5. I'll take my 10 Championships and sacrifice 3 or 4 bad seasons if that is the deal.

Oh fuck? Lol.

Boston has IT and Horford.

That's not better than Oladipo and Adams... It's not better than a lot of teams.

Boston is desperate following a failure of an offseason.

OKC is desperate too, late first rounders and Rozier or Brown for WB.

They traded Ray Allen for Jeff Green previously. Got nothing but Adams for Harden. Acquired Perkins.

Presto is a bit overrated

We'll have to give up major kids to get RW!

He won't want to come to this watered down roster in a trade, so the likelihood of this happening is "slim to none and slim just left the building!"

As he should! Good for Russell Westbrook. Much like Kobe Bryant, HE wants to beat everyone. How can anyone not love that?

I predicted he would stay. That is his mentality! I bet he will attract someone to join him next summer as well. They still are a Playoff team without Durant IMO, probably a 6th-8th Seed but still respectable. I think they can win 47-50 games with the Roster they have.

"Despite striking out in free agency for the fourth straight summer, the Los Angeles Lakers reportedly thought they had a shot at signing Russell Westbrook after this season. As we learned Wednesday night, though, Westbrook wasn’t interested in hitting the market come July, electing to re-up with the Oklahoma City Thunder on a three-year, $85 million-plus contract extension that promises to make OKC anexceptionally exciting watch next season."

What the fuck ever. Enes Kanter can get the duck sick. I see San Antonio and GS both getting past them next year.

It wouldn't surprise me if a another Star player goes to OKC next summer though because Westbrook is there. They already have a Very Good frontline. I think they still make it to the semifinals this upcoming season as probably a 6th Seed. They can beat the Clippers. Warriors and Spurs will probably get the Top 2 seeds, after that the West is wide open.
