An EXCELLENT omen!

Yes it is. I've never been so excited over a sprained wrist news in my life.

Checking out the Summer League game Lakers/Jazz, Zubac is dominating with 16 Points, 10 Rebounds, and 6 Blocks! Ingram also has 22 Points on 9-13 shooting. Lakers are down 90-88 with 14 seconds left but those 2 players are killing it tonight!

We lost but Zubac and Ingram looked great. The Jazz defenders, especially #17 were grabbing and holding Ingram the whole 4th Qtr and nothing was called.

You may have read this already, but I'll post it here because I have been very much against parting with any of our young talent for an enigmatic player like Cousins. Upon further review however, I can see how acquiring him would fit into a "bigger-picture" plan that would involve landing Westbrook next year. Cousins has, over the last couple years, matured and improved his game despite being stuck in a losing system with no real focus or consistency. A chance to start fresh with a franchise known for its winning ways might be just what the doctor ordered for both sides. Of course I'm still opposed to losing Russell, but I also trust Mitch and staff to do the best thing possible for the fan base and the franchise.

I don't see how they re-sign Harkless at this point.

Probably don't but with Ingram/Deng... Mo has no place here

We do have money for trade though

The more I think about it I think we should stand pat! No trades! PATIENCE BABY! Let the toddlers do their thing under Luke and see what they have for a season without the Mamba. I want to see what Russell, Clarkson, Ingram, Randle, and Zubac have along with Nance, Lou. The additions of Deng, Calderon, and Moz should bring Vet leadership to the team as well. We could win 30 games if everything clicks right and we should be much more exciting to watch than last season.

It's a stretch, but with 90% health and some next-level coachzing and commitment to defense, we could double our win total and get something real started. It's good that this young core got to share Kobe's last season and see up close what made him the Alpha Dog . . but they're also ready to put Kobe in the rear view and make this their team. New era.

Yeah I am ready to move on and ready to see what Russ, Randle, and Ingram can bring to the table. 30 wins isn't a crazy prediction, that might be mine. 29.5 is an interesting over/under you have to admit. If we win 30 that is a 13 game improvement.
