Dodgers are like the Utah Jazz of 97/98 - they should win and will have HFA but can they take down Chicago who have the best player in Kris Bryant?

Bellinger > Bryant

I can make an argument to several players being better than Bryant statistically. Mike Trout when healthy is, Bryce Harper and Aaron Judge for example but will these players show up in big moments during the Playoffs? Bryant did last season and has a Ring already, got it in year 2. Hell his team went to NLCS his Rookie season with him being the best player on his team.

I knew my comment would get your blood boiling! :duel:

Yanks. Yet another bottom of the 9th victory! They're hot again, although His Honor is coming back down to Earth, but that's OK because finally it's Tanaka Time!

Yanks-Dodgers World Series! #CollisionCourse

Yeah It's getting to be that time of year again. Shoe will be on the other foot this time. You guys will be favored and HFA. Cubs beat the Brewers tonight 2-1 in 11. So they now are back up 1.5 games over them, 4.5 over the Cards for the Division. Since the All-Star break, the Cubs are 12-3.

Very impressive but the Cubs have had the 2nd best record of any World Series Champion over the last 30 seasons (1987-2016 going into 2017 now) at 103-58. Only the 1998 Yankees were better at 114-48. Cubs just beat the Brewers again and took 2 of 3 at Milwaukee, Kris Bryant hit another HR as well. Cubs now 2.5 ahead of the Brewers in the NL Central and 4.5 ahead of the hated Cards. 3 reasons why the Cubs will Repeat - 1. They have 0 pressure on them to win it now, they broke all the jinx/curses last season, 2. They know how to win it all after beating the Giants, Dodgers, and Indians last season, 3. They still have Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Jake Arrieta, Jon Lester, and now Wade Davis is an excellent replacement for Chappy as a Closer. The Intangible, I think Maddon is the best Manager in Baseball as well. Since Maddon has took over as Cubs Manager beginning in 2015, the Cubs are 97-65 in 2015/made it to the NLCS, 103-58 in 2016/won the WS, and now 56-48 = lead their Division by 2.5.

3Peat!!! Steve Bartman gets a World Series ring!! Pretty good for a guy who's such a big fan that he sits in great seats at playoff games, PUTS HEADPHONES IN HIS EARS AND PAYS NO ATTENTION TO WHAT'S GOING ON!!!

Yes, this will be a fun Playoffs with the Cubs, Dodgers, and Yankees in it! Hopefully all 3 win their Division (Dodgers have there's on lock down already). I hate the RedSox so I would rather the Yankees in it with an easier path, just don't like Boston teams.

The way that guy was treated he deserves one. He didn't cost the Cubs the NLCS, Cubs just choked. What sucks is, the Marlins went on to beat the Yankees without HFA and we were better than the Marlins IMO, just choked!

Dodgers get Yu Darvish from the Rangers and another solid lefty from the Bucs -- we are SOLID and ready to wrap up this season with a powerful championship run!! Just swept the Giants too!

Yeah great pickup for you guys. This season has Dodgers year written all over it. We will see come Playoff time what happens. Should be fun to watch. Regarding Bartman, I am really not sure how good his sports knowledge is but I never blamed him for our Game 6 loss vs the Marlins. Not sure why a lot of people did? The Cubs played sloppy in that 8th Inning with Error's, etc.. Cubs still had Game 7 at home with Kerry Wood Pitching too. Just an epic choke. I think the Ring puts things to sleep with Cubs fans that hate him.

15-3 Cubs, sending the league a message! Don't mess with the World Champs!
