Funny that 7 out of the 10 are NL teams when we've been in an AL-dominant era. Still stinging from the way my Bums crashed and burned, but look at the Nattys going all the way to the show. Guess we got Treeumpfed by Washington D.C. :waaaaa:

I honestly do not see anybody beating the Astros but I never did. I had Astros over Dodgers in the WS before it started. Astros have dominant pitching and hitting. WS winners this decade:

2010 - Giants
2011 - Cardinals
2012 - Giants
2013 - Red Sox
2014 - Giants
2015 - Royals
2016 - Cubs
2017 - Astros
2018 - Red Sox
2019 - I hate to say it but I see 2 in 3 years for the Astros coming. They are doing what my Cubs should've been doing. Cubs lost key players to their team after 2016, Astros just keep adding good players to their 2017 team. At least my Cubs finally won one after 108 seasons :roflmao: , as of now it looks like that is all they will get for a while.

Can you believe that, Chap gave up a HR to lose the game. Chap even smiled. That is fucking stupid. Chap is the best who throws 100 MPH. Great hit Altuve is all I can say.

When Chap was with the Cubs he was automatic and even was the winner of Game 7 of the WS.

Fuckin' Altuve - beats the Yanks no matter where he plays.

Giving up so many on bases for 3 straight games :scream: will never get it done.

Nats beat the Dodgers so if they win it makes Dodgers loss sting less. Astros are really tough though

Hard to believe that with this ALCS exit, the Yankees will officially not win a World Series in this decade - the first decade without a championship since the 1920s.

Still not as bad as the Dodgers 30+ years of empty hopes :waaaaa:

Yeah Nats also stole Game 1 tonight from the Astros in Houston. Huge.

It is tough to win a WS, Cubs went 108 years without one :roflmao: . I am grateful we won one in 2016 though. To win a championship recently is nice.

Not exactly solace for losing to them in the NLDS, but they seem to be quite a force and damn sure peaked at the precise time.

Go Nats I say :xclaphands: . The 5 best teams record wise to win the WS over the last 40 seasons (4 decades = 80's, 90's, 2000's, and 2010's) are:

1. 1998 Yankees 114-48
2. 1986 Mets 108-54
2. 2018 Red Sox 108-54 (tie with the 86 Mets)
4. 1984 Tigers 104-58
5. 2016 Cubs 103-58 - my Cubs deserve to stay in the top 5 regarding this, fuck the 107-55 Astros, you snooze you lose :roflmao: :waaaaa: :silly3: , the last time a team was down 2-0 in a WS and came back to win was the 1996 Yankees. They were down 2-0 to the Braves and won 4-2. Cubs were down 3-1 in 2016 to the Indians and won the WS 4-3.

They're a solid team, much like the Giants were during their run. Nobody is counting out the Nats yet.

This baseball season seems so anti-climactic, all the right teams took wrong turns - except for two. Dodger fans are going to start bringing live goats to games - not as pets but as potential sacrifices to the stitched-leather gods :waaaaa:

Given that none of our teams are in the World Series, it doesn't bother me that the fans of the home team have gone home bummed out after (or before the end of) each game.

HAVING SAID THAT, I hope we have two nail bites, with Astros fans going home bummer out after Game 6 and may the best team win Game 7! Strasburg/Verlander should be a dandy tomorrow. I'll be watching the last part of the game on my iPad as I settle into my couch to watch the Lake Show at 7:30!

Kendrick with the twisty 2-run HR to put the Nats up 3-2 late and if they hold on, Rendon will be the WS MVP. Dude is amazing in the late innings. Funny thing is he grew up as an Astros fan. Whatever happens, the spotlight is on football and roundball now. Spring training is on the back burner.

Nats hang another run, can this be real? No home victories for either team? I wish Howard Cossell was still here :waaaaa: :snapout:
