Rev

You bring up a great point about Managers. That is how teams really gain the 'IT' factor. When the Dodgers had Lasorda they had the 'IT' factor in 1981 and 1988 when they won the WS, Yankees had it with Joe Torre from 1998-2000 for the 3Peat, and the Cubs have had it from 2015-now with Joe Maddon (2016 especially, the season we won it all). Lakers had it with Phil regarding Coaching. You need to have the right guy to make the right crucial moves to win championships.

We tried to rally today with a late HR but not much offense. LA wins 2-1. Rev you got a game, I am happy with 2 of 3. I did not think we would actually sweep this series as the Dodgers are too good.

Dodgers squeeze out a 2-1 win over the Cubs in the series-ender.

Dodgers: 0.5 game lead over Arizona.
Cubs: 2.5 games behind Pittsburgh.

Next up: Pittsburgh @ LA, Cubs @ Arizona.

Seems we need to root for each other!

We are actually 2.5 back of the Cards but if you take care of Pitt that would still be a big help  .

I like the Dodgers actually and if the Cubs are eliminated, I root for them or the Mets as secondary teams. I would be so happy for you and Craig if the Dodgers finally won a ring in this era Brethren. I was hoping you guys would beat the Sox last year as I hate the Sox. Your window is still open IMO but 2017 against Houston is the one you let get away unfortunately. Your 2017 Season was like the Cubs 2016 Season, you had the best team IMO but fucking Yu choked.

Cubs took care of the D-Bags 9-1, rubber match is Sunday afternoon. Yu actually pitched great for a change and got a win. Cubs now 13-12 and still just 2.5 out of 1st in the NL Central behind the Cards.

Yes yes yes! Dodgers made the scalawag Pirates walk the plank, sweeping them. Wish it coulda been the Cards, because everybody in our divisions besides them, us and your Cubs are underachieving so far. Was gonna try to catch the Dodgers/Giants game in SF later today, but looks like I'll be watching from the couch. The beer and food is cheaper :bbalargu:

Very proud of the Cubs right now. They take 2 of 3 at Arizona and then travel to Seattle and beat a very good Mariner team tonight 6-5. Cubs are now 15-12 on the season, nice way to finish April.

Cubs are up on the Mariners 9-0, that is correct 9-0 already in the 4th. Looks like no nailbiter tonight. Have to stay pace with the red hot Cards.

Bums outscore Gnats 13-8 in the series but lose 2 out of 3. Fuckin one-run games, I hate em.

2-game lead over San Diego, 2.5 over Arizona. We start a series vs. the Padres today.

Dodgers should have no problem winning their division. They are definitely the best team in the NL West. My Cubs may be a wildcard this season because the NL Central is loaded. The Cards are really good this season and the Brewers are very talented.

Cubs just kicked the shit out of the Cards 4-0, now just 1.5 back in the NL Central. The Professor with a complete game shutout. Cubs now 17-12 and 14-4 over the last 18 games.

Cubs train is rolling now, just a half game out of 1st place in the NL Central. Up 2-0 on the Cards in the series, a win today puts us in 1st place. Cards 20-13, Cubs now 18-12.

Ken's Yanks are breathing down the Ray's necks, Seattle's great start has gone to shit, The Cubs are trying to keep up with the hot Cards, and the Dodgers are going for the sweep vs. San Diego, though the D-backs are coming up fast. The other divisions are truly non-factors.
