Cubs with another win tonight, they are coming up big down the stretch here. Brewers lost tonight as well. The NL Central standings look like this after September 18th games:
1. Cubs 89-62 = only 11 games left
2. Brewers 86-66 = 10 games left (3.5 back and 4 back in the loss column)
3. Cards 84-68 = 10 games left (5.5 back and 6 back in the loss column)
-Cubs are winning a Division right now that is no joke. I am hoping the competition they have played will pay off in the Playoffs.
-If the Cubs do indeed win the NL Central, here is what their resume will look like over the last 4 seasons: (2015-2018)
2015-2018 = 4 straight Playoff appearances, it's going to be this anyway as at worse they will be a WCard
2015-2017 = 3 straight NLCS appearances (2018 Playoffs yet to be determined)
2016-2018 = 3 straight NL Central Division Titles
2016 = NL Champions (2018 Playoffs yet to be determined)
2016 = World Champions (2018 Playoffs yet to be determined)
-I think it's safe to say my Cubs have established something great finally over a period of time. 4 seasons is a nice sample size to be Very Good to Great. Nice not be laughed at anymore or be the lovable losers. We have been a Top 3 team in the league for a Presidential term
going by accomplishments!
