Before the game in a conference room inside the A's Coliseum, we were treated to a fantastic lineup of finger foods and tons of information about JDRF - the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund of which my oldest son, who has Type 1 diabetes, is a member. Bob Melvin, the A's manager, even came up to speak (in his game uniform!) about his experiences - his daughter was diagnosed in 2003 at 14 years old and has been fighting the good fight to fund research for a cure. All in all a fantastic night out for baseball!
That sounds like an awesome time Rev. A's might win the World Series this year . There is just something missing with the Dodgers this season unfortunately, Cubs aren't dominant either. I don't like the Red Sox so I hope someone knocks them off. I hate all Boston/Mass teams. Red Sox, Pats, and Celtics = as in FART, not BRAIN FART
