MLB - the 7th Inning Stretch

With a win or a Brewers loss, the Cubs clinch the Division tonight. Should be an interesting Playoffs, 4 dangerous teams in Dodgers, Nats, DBacks, and my Cubs will be battling in the NL. All 4 of those teams are capable of beating one another on any given day.

I rest my case.

#1 this is a baseball thread . . :imok:

#2 Villanueva said he felt like he betrayed his teammates. Which he didn't, because he did what everyone has the right to: Honoring their faith/belief in whatever way they choose to. Trust me, almost all of my pro-Kaep friends think what he did was just fine and proved the point that a team can have different views but still operate on the field as a unit. This has NOTHING to do with "disrespecting the flag", as the U.S. Constitution clearly states that NO ONE is obligated to stand. People wear U.S. flag clothing up their buttcracks and put it on beer cans, so what is "respecting" is a very vague thing. Don't let Heartland politics cloud your sensibility, 3Peat!! You're better than that!

Go Dodgers!

It's all good Rev, people are going to do what they want to do. Like I said I love all people and believe in Equality, not sure you or Kenny get my point on this though. I just think it's the wrong platform, it has nothing to do with lpmua6, I thought it was wrong before lpmua6 was even in office. Players were kneeling when hwuyat was still president. Kaep started the kneeling when hwuyat was in office.. It's America, land of the free. Back to Baseball now, the Playoffs are going to be real interesting.

McGwire had the record at 49 I think. Congrats to your guy Kenny. Are you ready for the Playoffs? Looks like Twins at Yankees in a 1 game WildCard situation. My Cubs have the 3 Seed wrapped up in the NL, looks like we will play the Nats.

Hell, YES! I didn't expect the Yankees to make the post-season. I'm conflicted about the one game play-in, but teams (Giants) have played in and won it all, so I suppose winning a one game playoff "series" can give you momentum. Good luck to your World Champion Chicago Cubs and to Rev's Bums who reside in Los Angeles.

Yeah Good luck Kenny. I think it's awesome all of our teams are in. Just win your 1 game and then you are in the ALDS. That one game can be scary because it is a 1 game elimination.

Cubs 2017 Division Champs, now 89-69. Not much celebration from the players, it's about WS Championships now as Bryant just said. Still hell of a 3 year run no matter what happen. 2015 = 97-65/NLCS Appearance, 2016 = 103-58/Division Champs + WS Champs, 2017 = 89-69/Division Champs so far.

-Time for the Post Season again for the World Champs!

American League:
-I am going to say Yankees over Twins
-Then Indians over Yankees 3-2 in a very close series
-Then RedSox over Astros 3-2 as well
ALCS RedSox in a shocker 4-3 over the Indians

National League:
-I am going to say DBacks over Rockies
-Then Dodgers over DBacks 3-1
-Then Cubs over Nats 3-2
NLCS Cubs over Dodgers 4-3. Whoever wins this series will win the WS IMO

My World Series is Cubs over RedSox 4-2. It will be a Repeat! Bryant wins MVP of the WS.

Jon Lester Pitching today, just curious to see how he does.

A look at the Cubs 3 year run:
2015 97-65, made the NLCS but lost to the Mets. Jake won CY Young
2016 103-58, Division Champs, beat the Indians to win the World Series. Bryant wins League MVP.
2017 91-69, Division Champs

Total record = 291-192 60.2% winnings. If the Cubs win today that will put them 100 games above .500 over the last 3 seasons :kingclaphands:
