Does anyone know if Ken is ok? He hasn't Posted in a while. I do have his number but haven't bothered calling him. I am not real worried about him otherwise I would call him but he usually Posts a little even when he's busy. Hopefully Craig is ok as well, the Baseball Playoffs will be starting shortly, full slate of NFL games starts Sunday too.

Life has a way of getting in the . . way . . I guess. I know mine is never short of ups and downs. The preseason is only a few weeks away -- can't wait to see our new squad in action!

Cubs with a gigantic win over the BrewCrew tonight! They are now 2 games ahead again in the NL Central. I will give the Brewers credit, they won't go away.

Only 2 weeks left in the Baseball season. Cubs still cling to a 1.5 game lead in the NL Central over the Brewers. Cubs sit at 85-61, Brewers are at 84-63. Both also have the 2 best records in the NL so they are fighting for HFA in the NL. Worse case scenario for the Cubs at this point looks to be they will finish as a Wildcard team at worse. They have a 97% probability of finishing as one of the Wildcard teams. They still have a 58% probability of winning the NL Central.

Going into Monday's games, the Cubs still have a 2.5 game lead in the NL Central over the Brewers. Cubs also still have the best record in the NL. Less than 2 weeks left in the season now, can't wait for Playoff Baseball. Baseball rules during the Playoffs. Go Cubs!

After scoring 17 runs Saturday vs. the Cards, the Dodgers couldn't figure out Wainwright and then this young hurler Jordan Hicks came in throwing 104 mph lazers!!! The kid is scary! We slipped back into a tie for the second wild card and a 1/2 game behind Colorado for the division lead. It just doesn't get any tighter than this! And now we play the Rockies, D-Bags AND finish up the season at the Giants - who would LOVE to play spoiler! All my nails will be bitten off!

I also get to root for the local A's, who have had an incredible season behind the bat of little Khris Davis, who leads the majors in HRs. I hope they can find a way to make a deep run!

Cubs with another win tonight, they are coming up big down the stretch here. Brewers lost tonight as well. The NL Central standings look like this after September 18th games:
1. Cubs 89-62 = only 11 games left
2. Brewers 86-66 = 10 games left (3.5 back and 4 back in the loss column)
3. Cards 84-68 = 10 games left (5.5 back and 6 back in the loss column)
-Cubs are winning a Division right now that is no joke. I am hoping the competition they have played will pay off in the Playoffs.

-If the Cubs do indeed win the NL Central, here is what their resume will look like over the last 4 seasons: (2015-2018)
2015-2018 = 4 straight Playoff appearances, it's going to be this anyway as at worse they will be a WCard
2015-2017 = 3 straight NLCS appearances (2018 Playoffs yet to be determined)
2016-2018 = 3 straight NL Central Division Titles
2016 = NL Champions (2018 Playoffs yet to be determined)
2016 = World Champions (2018 Playoffs yet to be determined)

-I think it's safe to say my Cubs have established something great finally over a period of time. 4 seasons is a nice sample size to be Very Good to Great. Nice not be laughed at anymore or be the lovable losers. We have been a Top 3 team in the league for a Presidential term :roflmao: going by accomplishments!

My Dodgers are trying to clinch their SIXTH straight division title . . but frustratingly we didn't seal the deal against the Astros in Game 7 last fall. We're getting hot at the right time - using our crazy mix of talent in the field, at the plate and on the mound, and if we can sweep the Rockies tonight (Taylor with the 10th inning walk-off HR last night!!) then we're in a fantastic position to win the division again and avoid all the silly play-in tiebreaker and wild-card stuff. There hasn't been a tighter, more complicated race to the finish in baseball in a long time!

Dodgers would have a better resume than the Cubs over the last decade had they beat Houston last season. You may win it all this season and finally get that weight off your back? I picked the Dodgers to win it all before the season started if you remember right. I just figured they are due and came so close last season. It looks like they may win their Division now so that is step 1.

PUIG!!!

Dodgers now need to sweep the D-Bags, Padres and Giants! Even though this fragile 2 1/2 game lead is the largest we've had all season, any of these already-eliminated NL West foes would LOVE to play spoiler and help us miss the post-season.

Man, the Cubs are going to be without Morrow for the rest of the year. At least Kris Bryant is back and healthy. They look poised to make another solid run.

It's amazing the Cubs are 89-63 with all of the injuries they have had. Darvish gave us nothing all season, our best player has missed nearly half the season in Kris Bryant, and Pedro Strop has missed over a week now with a hamstring injury. Morrow hasn't Pitched since June, that has really hurt our Bullpen.

Last week of Baseball left folks. Cubs just have 8 games left. The Playoffs are right around the corner. My Cubs holding on to the NL Central lead by 2.5 games over the Brewers. Cubs also still have the best record in the NL. As of now all roads lead through Wrigley Field in the NL.

The Dodgers have been in an absolute GROOVE these last couple of weeks!! Kemp, Machado, Muncy and the rest of the crew are really coming up big at the plate and our starters are putting in some solid work! Rockies and Cards keep winning too, so we have to protect our super-slim lead -- and if we can manage to catch the Braves, we'll have HFA through the division series. Crunch time!

Another dumbass Cubs fan trying to catch a foul ball when Rizzo could have caught it and help secure a win. Instead the ball drops and the Pirates rally to tie the game :waaaaa: Brewers pouring champagne :beavis:

It didn't affect the game, the Cubs still won and still lead the NL Central by a half game. Brewers beat the Cards tonight to clinch a Wildcard spot is why they were pouring champagne. Cubs with their win clinched at least a Wildcard spot too. Cubs do not pour champagne over clinching a Playoff spot, Brewers do because they are like the Clippers and have 0 Championships in their franchise history.

-We still might not win the Division, the Brewers are playing out of their ass right now but at worse the Cubs will be a Wildcard. Since Racial Integration took place in 1947 this is the 1st time in Cubs history they have made the Playoffs 4 seasons in a row (2015-2018). We got our Ring in 2016 so it's been a hell of a 4 year run regardless what happens in these upcoming Playoffs.
