Good job, now beat the Cards! Cubs pounded the Pirates again today, Jake is now 7-0. Cubs now 27-8 with a 8.5 game lead on the Cards and 9 over the Pirates. I want that Division lead to balloon to at least 10 games over both just in case the Cubs hit a rough patch. Every team struggles in a 162 game season so it's bound to happen.

Dodgers beat Cards! Cubs are now 10 ahead in the loss column over the Cards. Cards are always dangerous so no lead is safe. Thanks Dodgers!

Do you guys want to go ahead and give me my WS Title and congrats now or later? Cubs now 28-10 = best in Baseball. The Division is already over and we aren't even in June yet LOL.

I am bit concerned with the bats right now but the Cubs pitching is dynamite. Jake hasn't even been tested yet and Lackey and Lester are very solid.

So much for the Giants 8 game winning streak. They couldn't handle the Jakester! Jake now 8-0! Cubs were playing homerun derby against the Giants pitching. Zobrist hit one into the lake!

Bumgarner shut my Cubs out tonight. They won 1-0. Giants are going to be a pain in the ass all season I see.

Another season with lots of talent but not enough to show for it . . our new skipper better do something because right now he's looking like a continuation of Mattingly -- only worse. The Gnats have surged ahead and even the Rockettes are sitting even with us. Come on, Blue!!!!

Cubs step up big and win series is St Louis to improve to a league best 31-14. Jake gave up 4 runs today and the Cubs hung on to win 9-8 but they have dominated the Division so far this season which is huge. 8 game lead over the Cards now, 5.5 over the Pirates. Jake despite struggling goes to 9-0 on the season!

Cubs hosting the mighty Dodgers here in a few! Man I am glad I am off work tonight, watch this game, watch Game 7 of the Warriors/Thunder, order the ol pizza and drink me a strong Crown. Great day for sports. Cubs are finally 20 games above .500, it took them long enough :roflmao: at 34-14, lets see if we can keep this thing rolling today! The lead over the Pirates is 6.5 and 9.5 over the struggling Cards. Finally after all these years we have the upper hand on the Cards, it feels great!

Cubs win 2-0. Cubs pitching is bad ass this season. The bats still worry me a bit though.

I wish it was Arrieta vs Kershaw tonight, that would be Popcorn worthy! Cubs have Arrieta going tonight, getting ready to watch to see if he can get to 10-0.

Cubs take Jake out and now are down 1-0. Great job Maddon :roflmao: I would've never took Jake out! Dodgers may get this win. Jake wont get the loss but to lose a game as a team when he pitches is ridiculous! 0 runs, our bats stink right now!

Dodgers up 2-0 going to the top of the 9th, it's over. Take the best pitcher in Baseball out after pitching 7 scoreless Innings to bring in a suspect bullpen. I think Maddon is on drugs tonight. I keep Jake in until he gives up a run plain and simple, he has earned that right. Cubs will still be 35-15 through 50 games which is the best record in Baseball and a huge lead over the Pirates and Cards in the Division at least. I will take it and Jake is still undefeated at 9-0 but what a wasted pitching performance. He now has 2 No Decisions!
