Go Mets! Fuck the Royals! This should be a great series. The Royals were so close last year but the Mets are red hot.

Don't know who I want to see take this one. Suppose the Mets to counter the Yanks' Big Apple dominance, plus KC is going to be in it for a few more seasons whereas the Metros will likely not.

Don't sweat it Kirby, Mets in 6. It's just Kenny being cranky  Mets are my 2nd favorite team so I hope they win.

It's just a (not so) inside joke started by Jesus (nyclaker), a Mets fan. So there. And fuck the Mets. :scream:

KC ends the 14-inning battle with a Colón-oscopy! A great start to the 111th Fall Classic. Somebody had to win. The Mets still have plenty of pitching and should feel good about their chances to even things up in game 2.

An unearned run wins it for KC. Colon and Niese had big balls last night, Lagares too. The rest.....not so much. Game 2 should be interesting.....obviously. Go Mets!

Jesus this is looking bad. Down 2-0. Maybe some NY homecooking will do the Mets well?

Yeah I cant wait to have one of those that being a Colon-Oscopy. Nothing like starving yourself for 24 hours, drinking chalk like water, then a tube stuck up your butt :waaaaa: I know I am getting old when that happens :offtopic:

So far good hitting beats good pitching from a Royals perspective. Series ain't over yet!

As Bartolo carries the namesake of our dear friend Cristobál Colon, Mets fans hope he can Colon-ize the Royals lineup with guns, spears and pox-infected blankets. It's only fitting - unlike his shirts.

Jesus, it's do or die tonight! If the Mets lose this game it's pretty much over. I hope they can at least win this one to make it interesting. That Game 1 was a killer. This series would be much different had they won that.
