Not even close, but I know you're bummed.

I am just bummed, this hurts.The way were playing we probably wouldn't of got past the Brewers anyway but to lose to Colorado at home is a pretty big upset.When I said biggest upset of all-time I was being a bit dramatic but this bad. I will still watch, Cubs had a Good season, just not Great unfortunately. Good luck tonight Kenny. My before season pick of Dodgers/Yankees in the WS still may happen.When we got rid of Jake I wasn't really feelin another WS win.

One last look at the Cubs Great 4 season run then I will move on and enjoy the memories:
2015 = 97-65, made NLCS but lost
2016 = 103-58, Won the World Series
2017 = 92-70, made NLCS but lost
2018 = 95-68, made the Playoffs but lost
Totals = 387-261/60% winnings = an average record of 97-65 for 4 straight years! 1 World Championship in 2016, played in 3 straight NLCS from 2015-2017, 4 straight Playoff appearances from 2015-2018. I am ok guys. By the way the Cubs have won more Regular Season games than anyone over the last 4 seasons - FACT = 387. :mariano: :kingclaphands:

Now to tonight's game. Who do you all have? Yankees or A's?

Here come da Judge (who gets that Flip Wilson reference?) . . Yanks strike early 2-0 but after that it's been like the Cubs game, all pitching. A's had the bases loaded with 2 outs but couldn't deliver. Tight game! Severino just gave up his first hit in the 5th inning, if you can believe that.

Sorry Rev but the Yanks have this in the bag, up 6-0 in the 6th. You have the Dodgers though, they will handle the young Braves pretty easily IMO.

Here's Kenny and Nuggs about now up 6-0 :beavis:

Yanks still up 6-2, almost over now. I can't wait for Yankees/RedSox. What a series that should be. 2 teams that hate each other, 2 fanbases that hate each other. BEAUTIFUL STUFF!

Congrats Kenny and Nuggs on your win tonight, like Rev and Craig with their Dodgers go get that Ring. Going by recent history the Yankees nor the Dodgers have won it all in a while, last 5 Champs have been:
2013 RedSox
2014 Giants
2015 Royals
2016 Cubs - my Ring
2017 Astros
2018 ?? could be Dodgers or Yankees. Now that the Cubs are out of it, I want that WS. I hope the Yankees can get by the RedSox. I hate the RedSox.

Baseball is so fickle . . I thought the Royals would keep it going after their breakout season but nope - even the great Giants run never could win two in a row. That's what makes baseball so unique - you never can tell who is going to rise up from one Fall Classic to the next. Baseball gives us Summer dreams and lays us down to an Autumn rest. A great sport that always manages to please. Big shout out to A's skipper Bob Melvin, who I met last month at the Diabetes event with my son. He'll probably win his 3rd Manager of the Year award, a really great guy who did so much with so little this year. The A's will be getting a new stadium in a couple of years, right on the water like the Giants. Staying in Oakland, thank goodness.

Out of the 3 sports I follow closely = Basketball, Football, and Baseball, Baseball comes down to luck more than anything. You have to be very skilled to hit a Baseball but I have seen games where a team drills the hell out of the ball but has nothing to show for it, while the other team gets 3 or 4 bloop singles and they win the game like 1-0. The Cubs got beat by a guy that wasn't even batting .200 and hadn't had a hit since September 10th = Tony 'freakin' Wolters. Most people probably has never even heard of him unless you follow Baseball closely. Sometimes lady luck is on your side, sometimes bad fluky breaks go against you. The Baseball Gods were on the Cubs side in 2016 and we got a Ring out of it, the Baseball Gods we were against us the other night in a 2-1 loss. The Royals won the WS in 2015 and since then they have sucked, at least the Cubs have had 4 solid years in a row making the Playoffs, they have proven they are legit WS Champions and not a 1 year chump. Astros are proving this season they are legit as well.

Yep and the year before (2014), the Royals AND Giants were both Wild Card teams that ended up making it all the way to Game 7 of the World Series, with the Giants winning their 3rd title in 5 seasons. My Dodgers have been the best team in their division for a lotta years now, and yes we did make it to our own Game 7 last year, but overall our postseason performance over this 6-year span has been disappointing for Dodger Nation. Anything short of a World Series title will be a letdown, despite the Red Sox and Astros being the favorites.

Rev you guys have had some bad luck in the Playoffs this whole decade unfortunately. Maybe the Baseball Gods will be on your side finally in these Playoffs? I would love to see you guys win it all. I felt so bad for you and Craig both after last years Game 7 vs Houston. I was ready to Post like crazy congratulating you guys but stinky ass Yu Darvish blew it and your bats were just dead. Giants are going to end up being the team of the decade because they won 3 World Series = 2010/2012/2014. The Cubs still have the best single season team record wise that has won a World Series this decade = 103-58 in 2016. If the RedSox do not win it all who are 108-54, the Cubs will still have that accomplishment. Astros are 103-59, Yankees 100-62 so the Cubs had a better record than both in 2016.

-Although it's been a while since the Yankees have won a WS (2009), they still have 27 WS Championships. Dodgers haven't won a WS since 1988. If it comes down to those 2, I want the Dodgers to win but if the Yankees win I will be happy for Kenny and Nuggs. Craig took last years lost so badly that I have to root for the Dodgers after coming so close last season.

Yeah it was a cake walk today, pure dominance from Ryu, gold glove play from our infield and the bats were jumping! One down, two to go!

Dodgers should waltz to the World Series this year. No Cubs to even worry about. They will sweep the Braves or win in 4 IMO. Brewers are legit but with the group they have now they have no NLCS experience. Looking ahead, question is can the Dodgers beat the Sox, Yankees, or Astros without HFA? I hope so but they will be the underdog there.

What Rev is talking about is, we do not have the Edit option after 30 minutes. I wish we still did. I completely spaced Cain and Moustakas won a WS with KC in 2015 when I typed what I typed above. So they do have some quality Playoff experience. I was just thinking about the Brewers as a franchise.

-I still think the Dodgers should beat the Brewers in a series though.
