Anything less than a WS appearance this year is a big fail for Dave Roberts and his talented crew. I'm planning a weekend in L.A and may catch a game vs. the Giants at Chavez Ravine - haven't been there in . . damn-near 40 years!

Rev I think anything less than winning the WS is unacceptable, it was that way with the Cubs last season and I agreed with it. Had the Cubs not won last season it would've been season 109 :roflmao: Cubs had the best team so we had to win or Cubs fans would've been trolled like no tomorrow.

Dodgers have lost 11 in a row, what the fuck is going on guys? Indians have won 19 in a row! The Dodgers are now 92-52, question now is will they win 100? I look at last seasons Cubs season as very special going 103-58 and winning it all. It's tough to maintain being great all season and win the WS. Great = 100 wins or more + WS win.

Cubs still hanging on to their Division lead. Only 3 weeks left in the season and the NL Central Standings look like this after tonight:
Cubs 78-66
Cards 76-68 (2)
Brewers 76-69 (2.5)
-Cubs and Cards still play 7 times so this will be interesting as the season ends.

Indians have won 21 in a row. I could be an ass and say it doesn't mean anything unless you win the Ring :roflmao: or I could just say that is damn impressive! Cubs now have a 3 game lead over the Cards in the NL Central after last night. Brewers are 2.5 back but 3 in the loss column. Cards come to Wrigley over the weekend for 3 games, that will tell me a lot. Everyone is on the Indians train, we took them out last season without HFA even. Until they prove they can win it all, they will never get huge respect from me. Cubs never did from anyone until last season. 2016 Cubs = consistent at 103-58 and finished the deal. I am not even sure the Dodgers will win 103 now? That is a lot of wins over a course of a season. It takes a Great team to win 100, that is like winning 60 in Basketball. More than 100 wins we are talking all-time great stuff but you have to win the WS to go with it, 2016 Cubs did it!

Baseball heading into the weekend of Friday September 15th:

Indians win 22nd straight! They keep it going folks. Dodgers have now won 2 in a row which puts them at 94-52 and they still have HFA throughout the Playoffs into the WS. As of now Playoff teams in the AL = Indians #1, Astros #2, RedSox #3 = Division winners/ WildCard teams = Yankees #4 vs Twins #5 at Yankee Stadium. NL Playoff teams = Dodgers #1, Nationals #2, Cubs #3 = Division winners/WildCard teams = DBacks #4 vs Rockies #5 at Arizona. Cubs are currently 80-66 and hold a 3 game lead over the 77-69 Cards in the NL Central but this weekend the Cards come to Wrigley for a 3 game set.

Yeah the Cubs kicked the Cards ass today 8-2, up 4 games now in the NL Central. Very much needed, Cubs made a statement today saying it's our Division! Brewers are now 3.5 back and play later tonight. I can relax a little now as this is looking great for the Cubs.

A losing streak desn't mean anything if you've already wrapped up the division. Mentally it may linger, but it also serves as motivation as the playoffs approach. Better to be seen as a powerful team that can play bad and lose like any other than to be considered a machine then fizzle out in the playoffs.

Cubs starting to run away with their Division, up 4 on the Brewers and 6 up on the Cards. I cant wait for the Playoffs. I am not even into Football as the Colts aren't any good without Luck, I am more into Baseball right now.

Cubs win 7th straight, MVP Kris Bryant took the night off and the Cubs still won at Tampa 2-1. The World Champion Cubs are now 84-66 on the season and up 4 games on the 2nd place Brewers in the NL Central. Hey good luck beating this team everyone :roflmao: They remind me of the Lakers in 2001, loaded and didn't have the record they had in 2000 but rolled because the pressure is off as far as winning it. Cubs are going to steam roll everyone, just watch and see greatness my Brethren. They have the best player in the world in Bryant, best CLUTCH Pitcher in Jake, best reliever in Wade, and best Manager in Maddon. REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT!

Go Cubs! The Playoffs are going to be so much fun! At worse the Cubs 3 year run looks like this = 97-65 going to the NLCS in 2015, 103-58 (Division Champs) winning the WS = beating the Dodgers 4-2 in the NLCS and Indians in the WS 4-3 in 2016, and winning our Division again at worse this 2017Season. 2 years in a row without the Cards winning the Division, how's our ass taste Cards fans after all the years of your trash talk, it's our Division now after proving last season wasn't a fluke. Question really is, can the Cubs Repeat as WS Champions? We will see. Something the Cards haven't had to worry about since 2011 :roflmao: :pissedkobe:

Finally off work for a couple of days and can kick back and watch this Cubs game at Milwaukee. I missed the game last night due to having to work days. Had to get up at 4 in the morning. I missed a classic, Bryant hit a 2 run homer in the 10th Inning to win the game. What a gut punch to the BrewCrew. That is what great teams and MVP's do though, Bryant is just the best! I can relax a little now while watching this tonight with the Cubs up 4.5 and it's still 5 over the Cards in the NL Central.

-The Indians are only 1 game behind the Dodgers for HFA, that is unfucking believable! As great as the Dodgers and Indians have been this season they still may not have a better record than what the Cubs had last season. Dodgers are 97-56, Indians 96-57. Cubs were 103-58 last season. Winning OVER 100 or more games is really tough, it takes a consistent great team to do so.

-Fun fact, Cubs and Yankees have identical records at 85-67 heading into play tonight. Just wanted to throw that out at Kenny and Nuggs.

Finally got back to Dodger Stadium today . . not going to the game, but they had the Gift Shop and the upper deck open so visitors could walk into the ballpark and see the field. Amazing views of Los Angeles from the parking lot. We can clinch tonight, plus it's Tommy Lasorda's 90th birthday!

Dodgers clinched their Division, congrats Rev. Now they just have to hold on too HFA and outlast the Indians for best record. Cubs won again as well. Cubs now 5.5 up on the Brewers and still 5 over the Cards in the NL Central. I said a long time ago the Dodgers and Cubs are on a collision course for the NLCS.

Watching my Cubs tonight as they are destroying the Cards 5-0 already in the 2nd Inning. Boycotting Football tonight and not even watching the Monday Night game. By the way Alejandro Villanueva's Jersey has become the #1 selling jersey now after today. He is the Steeler player that came out of the locker room and stood for the Anthem while all of his teammates stayed in the locker room and wouldn't even acknowledge the flag. Villanueva's jersey being the #1 selling jersey shows how there are millions of people offended by this kneeling stuff, Dude is an Offensive Lineman and isn't even a popular player like a QB is. I rest my case.

Go Cubs!
