Here was that list:
1. 1998 Yankees
2. 1975 Reds - They loved the Big Red Machine!
3. I am proud to say the 2016 Cubs were 3rd on that list! Didn't expect that but pretty cool.

I was at their VERY last game that season.

This team might even be better.

-I don't know Kenny, that 1998 team was so well balanced. Jeter, Williams, Brosius, and O'Neill. The Pitching with Wells, Pettitte and Rivera. They won 114 games. To me I agree with MLB, that was the best team over the last 50 seasons.

-Regarding the Cubs. I honestly don't think anything can top the 2016 Season the Cubs had regarding our franchise with Arrieta, Chapman, and Lester all in their prime Pitching. Bryant and Rizzo just slugging away too. I will take the Bronze Medal any day over a 50 season span, if only that 1998 Yankees team and the 1975 Big Red Machine was voted ahead of us.

Wow . . it's amazing seeing a player's entire career, realizing how consistent they've been and witnessing them achieve these epic milestones. Ichiro was honored last week as well.

Congrats to Pujols, he is a future Hall of Famer! Cubs just lost to the Cards. They let Kolten 'FREAKIN' Wong beat them in the 10th with a HR. Wong has hit 1 HR all season and bats .194. What a fluke!

They just keep rolling! Aaron Boone yanked the rookie starter after 6 no-hit, shoutout innings, then the Indians put up a 4 spot in the top of the 8th. The Yankees scored 3 in the bottom of the 8th and 4 in the bottom of the 9th, capped off with this walk off by Gleyber Torres, the likely American League Rookie of the Year if he stays healthy. Thank you, 3Peat!

Yeah he is a Good one but thanks for Chapman for that 1 year. I don't think the Cubs win the WS without him. We basically gave up a Great prospect but it helped us get a Ring. Had to be done because chances like the Cubs had in 2016 don't come around very often. What have the Yankees won now 15 of 16? They are on an incredible roll!

He is so fucking good, 3Peat, perhaps destined for Greatness! DiDi Gregorius is a free agent next summer and it wouldn't shock me if the Yankees didn't re-sign him given that Torres is a natural shortstop. Yes, I am predicting that the next Derek Jeter is Torres, not DiDi. Brian Cashman has done a genius job reducing the payroll. The Yankees aren't a luxury tax team anymore and are absolutely loaded with prospects.

Yeah I hated to lose him but we needed Chapman to get that Ring. Chapman was our best reliever in 2016 and it wasn't even close. No Ring for 108 years so it had to be done Kenny. Chapman would've won MVP of the WS had he not given up the tying run in Game 7. He still got the Cubs out of the 9th in that game and got the win. In Game 5 he Pitched 3 brilliant Innings and saved our season. I would even go as far to say he the best closer I have seen over the last 20 years with the exception of Rivera. Rivera is #1, he is #2. He may look shaky now at times but a couple of years ago he was 99% automatic!

Trevor Hoffman wasn't too shabby either.

Much needed win by the Cubs tonight after that disaster of a weekend! We got swept by the Cards and lost twice on walkoff HR's in extra Innings against them. Cubs now just 2.5 out of 1st, as the Cards lost tonight. So it was a great night. We put up 14 Runs tonight, I want to see more of that! Bryant is starting to play great too, he hit another HR tonight and his Average is at .290 now. It was like at .250.
